Bella walks down the familiar corridor, headed for Josh's study, a smile on her face, as she remembers the wonderful lunch she had with Henry, specially after Alexander left.

Henry told her all about his Kingdom and all the plans he has for it, making Bella want to be a part of it. Not once did he made her feel that these were just his plans. Every time he would tell her about something for the future, it was always with a "We" and never with an "I" or "Me". It showed her that he really wants her by his side every step of the way.

Bella is so lost in her own thoughts that she doesn't see Alexander until it is too late.

-"Lady Arabella, a moment, please." - There's a serious look on his face.

-"I'm sorry, Lord Roberts, but King Josh is expecting me."

-"It's about King Henry."

-"What?"

Alexander signals her into a room just opposite of the big windows that line the corridor, opening the door and waiting for her to enter. Bella hesitates but enters the room, Alexander following her inside.

-"What do you wish to talk about?"

-"With all due respect, my Lady, if you're planning on accepting King Henry's request to court you, you're making a big mistake."

-"And why is that?"

-"Has King Henry told you how we know each other?" - Bella doesn't answer. -"Your silence tells me he hasn't and I have my doubts if he ever will. You see, my estate is very close to the border with King Henry's Kingdom and because of that I have several trade agreements with merchants in his Kingdom."

"A couple months ago, a group of my man went to his Kingdom to collect some products, something they have done multiple times without any issues."

"Amongst those men was a good friend of mine. Someone I considered a brother. He was a good man with a family of his own."

"When my men didn't return when they were supposed to, I went looking for them. I arrived at the village where they were supposed to be and discovered that my men were arrested and executed on false charges. From what I was told, King Henry himself oversaw their execution by beheading."

-"I don't believe you. Hen... King Henry would never forge charges against people." - Bella is shocked.

-"I went to his Castle and demanded to see him. He granted me an audience and when I confronted him with what he did, he told me that my men got what they deserved and that I should be grateful that he got rid of them for me."

-"No, I don't believe you. He wouldn't."

-"I understand you don't believe me, so ask him and see what he tells you. If you truly care about your daughters safety as much as I think you do, you need to stay away from him."

-"I will."

Bella hastily leaves the small room and makes her way to Henry's room, her mind running rampant with everything that Alexander just told her.

She doesn't want to believe Henry would do something like this, but this is Henry we're talking about. The man that many consider the Devil, is it that far fetched that he would do something like this?

Back in the room, Alexander smirks seeing Arabella run out of the room. He knows that there's no way Henry can weasel his way out of that one, Devil or not.
