Alexander marches down the corridor, burning with anger. How dare the Devil do something like this? He has another thing coming if he thinks Alexander will just bow down without a fight. Arabella belongs to him and he always gets what he wants.

He makes a corner and runs into the Devil himself.

-"Your Majesty." - The words leave his mouth through gritted teeth.

-"Lord Roberts. How are things back at your estate?" - A smirk plays on Henry's lips.

-"You are going to pay for what you did." - Alexander steps forward, ready to hit him, but Henry doesn't move.

-"It all can go back to normal if you just admit to Lady Arabella the truth."

-"I will never do that." - He smirks. -"Lady Arabella belongs with me, not with the Devil."

-"Devil or not, it should be Lady Arabella's choice who she wishes to be with. Not some little Lord who thinks he's God's gift to women. She deserves the truth, no matter who she chooses to be with."

-"Lady Arabella will do whatever she is told, just like any other woman. In fact, she should be grateful that anyone is even willing to marry her."

-"You should show some respect." - Henry growls.

-"I always get what I want and this time won't be any different."

Alexander scoffs before walking away, leaving Henry in the corridor, his anger at a dangerous level. For a second there, he truly considered just throwing the man out of the nearest window, but there are too many people around.

Taking a deep breath, Henry thinks that Josh better not agree with Alexander marrying Bella. He truly believes it will be the death of the light that lives within Bella. He softly shakes his head at the thought and resumes his walk, wishing he could go back in time and tell Bella everything.

What neither man noticed was that Alexis was standing nearby, close to one of the many windows, and she had heard everything.
