CHAPTER 15

DARSH POV

I'm sure, I'm not having fun here but I'm definitely sure that someone else is. Yeah, Aditya and Dhruv they are enjoying the wedding more than me, the irony of this is mind blowing. I guess I'm not the only one who is laughing at my fate right now I bet even God is laughing too.

As mom and dad left the stage the song has already started to play and I'm quite sure this is the dance they were planning to perform but something is different because I see Vritika's Dadi, chachi, bua and her sister and her best friend performing on the song Mehndi Hai Rach ne Wali.

They really care and love her specially her dadi, her sister and her friend. They are here for her and so I am and my family, now because she is going to be Raichand maybe for few months, but she'll be my person. Breaking my thoughts I look up they all are dancing and soon her dadi comes near us and we stood she kissed Vritika on her head and gave blessing to me. Soon song ended and Dhruv and Rai? they show up on the stage with song.   

Then suddenly I guess Vritika's brother Krish and her best friend Ridhi matched the steps. As if they are talking more than performing. So did Aditiya and Some girl may be one of Vritika's cousins. They all started to dance.

One side boys and other side them as if they are taunting. They are enjoying the time that's actually good but when did they all plan this all things? Damn I'm shocked more than suprise.

"They are so cute as couples." Vritika said while enjoying the dance. I looked at her and gave a small smile. She scoops over and come little closer to me as if she is saying a secret. I too lower my head so that I can listen what she wants to say.

"I can bet they'll end up together." She pointed her chin towards stage. And I chuckled.

"I'm sure but what if they don't." I asked her to stretch the conversation.

She suddenly turned her face to me, and our lips were just centimeters away and I'm thinking of the kiss we had yesterday between all this people around me which includes our parents. God I'm so done.

"Then I'll have the couch but if I win you'll do my first rasoi."

Wait she is thinking after the marriage which means she isn't going anywhere but?

"What? Mr. Raichand afraid of the cooking huh?" She is too good for me.

Before I can say anything. Someone pulled her on the stage and when I saw who the person was taking away from me it was DAMN ADWAIT to make her dance on some song Jhak mar k. Not only him but Aliya and Roohi too they were dancing with Varun and Ivaan. As if he is asking for forgiveness just like John Abraham did in this movie. Shit Roohi notice me and drag me on stage and the line turns romantic somehow, we ended in the arms together and I'm not letting her go not to Adwait at least.

VRITIKA POV

As I and Darsh ended together and so after the romantic lines ended, we got off the stage. He took me back to where we were sitting early. After the performance and the stunt Adwait has pulled I'm going lecture him. Now I can eat and sleep because everyone has performed and then only my thoughts were cut off by when Da- Mr. Aadarsh walks up stage with the mic. 

I feel the hand on my shoulder when I look at the source, I come across the man who is going to be my husband and we'll get divorced technically we are already, but we aren't married yet, so it doesn't count.

I want to feel normal for once, I move little more to his side, and he tighten his hold on me indicating he is there.

"Thank you." I whispered to him, and he kissed my forehead just like how a normal couple would do. Just for once.
