CHAPTER 27

DARSH POV

I slept like a dead today. When I saw Vritika wasn't on bed beside me, I saw the time it was 9. Even she got up late. I got freshen up and went down just to see Dhruv coming out of kitchen with a frown on his face.

"Hey. All, okay?" I asked him. He smiled and nodded.

"First class bhai. By the way I'll take today off after the meeting." I raised eyebrow.

"Sure."

"I'll wait in the car." Saying this he took off.

I saw my wife talking animatedly to the other side of the person on phone when I entered kitchen. When she saw me, she nodded towards toasted bread. I took the plate, and she bought coffee. We both went out to sit on chairs.

"Acha Rai mai thujhe baad mai call karthi hu." Sayjng this she hung up.

"What's today news?" I asked her. She narrowed her eyes.

"Krish's and Ridhi's engagement." She said while spreading butter on the toast.

"Wow. That's fast. When is it?" I took the toast.

"This weekend. They all are here. Staying with my buva. And Ridhi's whole family will be coming from Ajmer."

"I thought she lived here."

"Yeah her father side family but she is some kind of royal from her mother side." She shrugged.

"Your still mad huh?" I ask her.

"Huh! No why would I be?" she says with taking empty plate and mug to kitchen. I go behind her entwined my arms around her. She looks me.

"If I was in your place, I would be kind of mad though." I say while placing my head on her shoulder.

"Then it's good that you are not in place. And Darsh I am not mad actually to say. I- I don't know. I don't know how I'll act around them. I had my doubts about their dating, and I am happy really, she is my best friend and my brother. I always wanted them to be happy they do deserve each other." she says with huff. I turn her around her arms circle my waist. 

"Then what's eating your mind?" she looks me.

"I don't know." she hides her face in my chest.

"Okay let's eat out today. Hmm?" she shakes her head.

"I'll talk with maa don't worry. Be ready by 6 huh?" She takes a step back and fold her hands.

"Is it an order Mr. Raichand?"  She lifts her chin up.

"No Mrs. Raichand it's a request from your husband. Would you please do me the honor of coming to dinner with me?"  She bits her lower lip and nods her head looking down.

"I need words sweetheart." I tilt her chin up.

"Yes." she whispers. I kiss her forehead and left for work.

DHRUV POV

I went to garage and was about to call the person because of who my mood has spoiled. But the person herself called.

"Kya huva? galthi se lagaya? KITTU ko lagane vali ti call?" 

"Dhruv, I didn't know you would be with my sister. And kittu is my childhood friend."

"Doesn't matter Rai. You are going with him out on this weekend."

"Yeah. But this isn't DATE like you are going tonight though."

"I-Huh" 

"What cat caught the tongue? You know what I'll be going with him to the club tonight, and it'll be a DATE. oh, and yeah enjoy your DATE. BYE." with that she hung up.

God this woman drives me nuts, but I am fucking love it. She knows how to shut my mouth.

I see bhai taking a call and sat in the car. I started the car. I love to drive, to be in control. It gives me power.

"Hey Hi Rai, good morning." I suddenly hit the break. With my eyes wide open what the hell. why everyone is talking to my girl.

"Dhruv!!!???" Bhai almost screamed.

"Squirrel bhai." He gave a dirty look. I started to drive again just you know my mind is on conversation going beside me not on the road.

"Hey sorry Rai didn't catch what are you saying?" he asked her.

"Hmm. Okay but tonight?" he narrowed his eyebrow. With the huff he nodded.

"Sure, I'll bring her."

"Hey, don't need to thank me. You said his sister will be there right so it's okay and you are a very good friend and sister as well." 

"Okay sure. Yeah, sure it'll be me and Vritika no one else. Yeah bye." with a laugh he disconnected the call."  could not stay without knowing what she is planning without ME.

"Soo???" I asked bhai.

"So what?" he was checking his mails.

"Who was on the phone?" He kept his phone inside his coat and faced me.

"What you want to know?" he asked folding his hands.

"Umm... Nothing." I smiled sheepishly.

"Rai is planning a surprise party for his friend he came from abroad."  grabbed weel tightly that my knuckles turned white. 

"Ohh." I nodded.

"Dhruv, I don't want to die early would you pull over I'll drive. I got my wife with whom I want to spend my life." I rolled my eyes and pulled over. He got out and we changed the seats.

"Look who's changed. The person who only wanted success is now laatu on his wife." I gave a side eye. He rolled his eyes and started to drive. 

"I'll also come with you guys."  whisper.

"Look you long enough to say. Idiot." He laughed. and I smiled.

 It was almost 6 and we are leaving office now. Thier were two international meetings and one on site, but at last we are going home, bhai called bhabhi and talked about the change in plan. We arrived home and went to freshen up.  was ready with in 45 min. I went out and got car out. Bhabhi and Bhai also came hand in hand. Bhabhi smiled and sat back, so did bhai. Bhabhi gave me location and yes, it's a well-known pub in south Delhi I started to drive and bhabhi and bhai were busy in their talk. We reached the pub at 8:30 thanks to traffic. I said bhai to go on I'll join after parking the car. They went inside and I parked the car and went inside just to be shell shock to see the sight.

Rai was dancing and with someone AND THE HELL dress she is the hottest sexist woman in entire pub and that fucking boy has his hands all over her. She is the Hell for all my sins. Her eyes clash with me and she smirk. Now she took Bhabhi with her, and I guess Adwait is also here I see bhai's eyes go dark. Yeah, bhai same. Not only that kittu guy but Ivaan also here and dancing with them. I make my way towards bhai. I took a drink from bar and gave it to bhai he drinks in one go. But soon enough Bhabhi comes and take bhai to dance floor. And I am in shock bhai dance wow. 

I take another drink and see that my little rebel is in the arms of another man. Little does she know I have plans with her later. Just then she turns to see me, and I wink.
