VRITIKA POV
Adwait dropped me and had tea with chachi and maa. I went back to bedroom to lie down. when I open my eyes only to see Darsh is changing into t shirt.
"What's the time?" I ask him sleepily and my throat feels dry.
"Here drink water." he gave me water bottle.
"And answer to your question it's 6." shit I slept long.
"I should go and start preparing for dinner." I said and rushed from room.
I was going down making a ponytail of my hair. When I reach kitchen, I find Maa and Chachi were sipping coffee, I guess.
"Vritika beta you got up. Do you want drink?" Chachi asked me.
"Sure. I would love to have." Maa gave me steaming hot cup of coffee.
"Vritika what are you going to make?" It was who chachi asked me.
"Make something sweet beta first." Maa said while taking sips of her coffee.
"How about double ka meeta and biryani?" I tell them.
"Sounds tasty. If you want any help, then you can ask without hesitating." Maa say's while taking my empty cup.
"Ji. I'll start now." they both nodded.
"Mumma. Mumma." Rishi and Rohan came in kitchen behind them Roohi and Aliya came breathing heavily.
"Anjali mammy ye dono hamari baath nai sunre hai dekho na." It was Aliya who spoke.
"Hi bhabhi." Roohi came and hugged me and soon Aliya too.
"We want to help Bhabhi." They both said in union. Rohan and Rishi said.
"Actually, why don't you guys enjoy a movie while I prepare the dinner and I'll bring snacks. In few." They all nodded and went out.
"Maa aur chachi aap bhi you go and rest I'll handle it." I say them
"But-" I cut chachi off.
"Please I insist." They looked each other and nodded.
"But beta if you need anything you'll call one of us, okay?" It was maa who said.
"Yes. I'll" Now I was all alone yes; I can do it. Soon I took breads from pantry and started to make Sweet doble ka meeta first.
After finishing double ka meeta. I kept it aside and then I dialed my cook guru my executive chef. He picked up on second ring.
"Vritika all, okay?" He asked me without even greeting me.
"Ji Guru ji. Par hume aap ki sahayatha chahiye." He grined like idiot.
"Kis parkar ki sahayatha puthri?" he said making his voice deep.
"Humariaaj pheli Rasoi hai aur mai aapka prasiddh mutton biryani ki recipe chahiye."
"Puthri use vyanjan vidhi khethe hai" he said in between his laughter.
"Fuck off Adwait are you going to help or not?" I said in strain voice.
"Yes. yes, my su chef let's switch to face time." I switched call to video call. I told him to tell me some quick snacks recipes. While marinating the mutton with all the spices and kept in refrigerator.
"Good now how about some allo fry?" he asked me.
"Hey, didn't we order that Macain." I asked him while searching the bag which I kept on the counter.
"Yes like 3 whole packs of different snacks."
"Yeah, got it. I fry this and give them."
"Very good work smart not hard huh." I shrugged.
