CHAPTER 20

AUTHOR POV

Everyone settled in their rooms of hotel for taking rest. In the night they have flight to catch, though Darsh's mom told them to come next day but Vritika and Darsh told it's fine. In the room it was silence which was expected. Breaking the trance, they had Darsh sat beside her on the comforter.

"You know you can change, you don't need to be in the lehanga if it makes you uncomfortable." he told her with small smile.

"It is kind of uncomfortable but aren't you going to change first? because it may take while for me." she asked him, and he nodded in response and took a white T-shirt and a blue jeans and went to restroom. 

Vritika took clothes from her duffel bag, Kurthi and palazzo, and some toiletries. She removed her jewelry and kept in the boxes then in the luggage. Soon enough Darsh came out with towel around his neck. And here our Vritika was awestruck by her own husband. Soon she went inside and locked herself in the restroom.

DARSH POV

It's almost 6 we have flight around 8 and the airport is not that far it'll take only 25 to 30 minutes. I decreased the temperature of room and drew the curtains. And I switched off all the lights except one which was near nightstand. I was about to go to sleep when I heard sound of bangles. Just for moment I forgot I wasn't alone and married.

Vritika looked so young with no makeup with the bare skin. She doesn't need makeup at all. She is carrying her heavy lehanga, I got up and helped her with the lehanga. We kept it inside her luggage. She looked all over room and nodded herself. And then she kept her luggage near door. She was doing something on her phone. Then she looked at me.

"Flight kab ki hai?" She's behaving normal? Like I'm not her husband.

"Uhu? Haa 8:20." She nodded and kept her phone on nightstand. She look at me and tilted her head side ways.

"Alarm laga rahi ti. Aren't you going to take a nap?"

"Yeah... Yeah..." I sat on the corner of bed and lay down making sure there is safe distance between us.

"Darsh?" Vritika called and I turned towards her.

"Huh?" She grabbed my arm and started to pull me on bed properly.

"We hugged, we kissed and even I almost slept on your bed, then why are you trying to break your back?  Sleep properly. First only your old-" I didn't let her complete her sentence. I caged her between my arms under me. I don't know what comes into me when she unravel me. But I like it.

"You were saying something sweetheart?" She blinked and blinked.

"I- I said that you should sleep properly for sake of your back." She said.

"Huh uhu" I leaned down and now our faces are just an inche apart. She nodded.

"Then what about old? Huh? I'm just few years older than you but believe me when I say that I can make you feel the way which you have never experienced and in a best way." I nuzzle myself into her neck. God the smell of her. It's really bring me on my knees.

I can feel her heavy breathing underneath me. It's same as me.

"Are you going kiss me now or what?" She really brings best out of me. My little daredevil.

And I kiss her hard, fast and rough. I like her lips which drives me crazy, wild so out of control. And my Lioness keeps up with me the same rhythm. Her hand goes from neck to my hair. She kissed me back. She didn't push me away and get pissed, she didn't object.

I unlocked our lips for air. I started to give kisses from her ear to neck.

"Darsh."

I looked into her eyes which were diluted with lust same as mine.

"We shouldn't... I can't-" she shook her head. I joined our foreheads.

"We can stop anytime Vritika." I said caressing her cheek and continued.

"Only if you're comfortable then I'll do. Okay?" She nodded.

"Just say you aren't feeling the connection between us." I can't take no for answer that to from her. But soon enough we jolted when we heard a knock on the door. I untangled myself from her and stood near bed
"I'll go and see who it is." She also stood and nodded.

"I'll go to restroom." I nodded. Is this awkwardness? Damn. Who might be here? I thought everyone were tried. I went and opened the door just to come face to face with ADWAIT? why is he here? It's not even a day and he is here.

"Who is it?" Vritika came out and asked. Wanted to say no one but this idiot beat me to it.

"Your Romeo my Juliet." I rolled my eyes.He pussed me aside and went near her. When I turned back to see they were hugging like they haven't met in years.

"Buttercup I'm missed you so much" he said, still in Vritika's arms.

"Natak math kar." She rolled her eyes and squeezed him.

"So, kab ki hai flight?" He was asking her and totally ignoring me. Damn him.

I passed him and stood beside Vritika and draping my arm around her shoulder. And I got a look from Adwait and eyebrow raised from my wife.

"8" I said him and he again ignored me and started to talk Vritika about how she shouldn't miss her meal's and some medications which she started few weeks back.

VRITIKA POV

I can still feel the weight of his arms around my shoulder. And probably feels of his lips too. SHUT UP VRITIKA. Remove your mind from gutter.

"Did you come alone?" I asked him(Adi) diverting the subject.

"Nai, Rai was with me were as V was parking the car." I was about to ask about Rai.

But soon enough we heard a commercial out in the lobby. I looked at Darsh he shrugged and same did Adi. We went out only to see Rai and Dhruv toe to toe throwing jabs on each other. And from opposite sides V was coming confused and standing beside Rai. And Roohi was also out from her room.

"Kya chal raha hai yaha." I asked them.

"Dekho na dii..."
"Dekho na bhabhi..."

They both said at the same time and stood either side of me pushing Darsh and Adi.

"Dekhugi par yaha nai. Come on let's go to cafeteria. Nai tho tumari ladai se ye floor k log bhar aajaye ge." They both followed me like a puppy.

"So now tell me why were you at each other's throat?" I asked them who where sitting in front of me. It's like I'm principal and here are students with their guardians. V was standing behind Rai, Roohi was standing behind Dhruv.

"He started first. Mai tho bus aap se milne aarahi thi." Rai said. V kept his hand on Rai's shoulder.

"I believe you, Rai." And Dhruv rolled his eyes.

"Oh!! Please. I was just stating the facts."

"Ohh yeah... accusing me of being a cheater? And take advantage of people?" It was Rai's.

"You shouldn't have said that D it's a bad thing to do." It was Roohi.

"Says who does the same?" Now it was V. Yaha par kuch alag he chal raha hai.

"Guy's. Listen to me don't start fighting. Not only me but everyone else are really exhausted. And Dhruv you really shouldn't had said that. That to you don't even know anything about her." I said him.

"And you Rai. Honey you should never let any comment get you this riled up. Hmm?" They both nodded.

"Good. Now let's just order something I'm hungry." Dhruv got up and Roohi took his seat. They went to give order.

"Sorry di. I should not had raised my voice."

"Never and I mean never say sorry or be sorry for standing up for yourself. And I'm saying this to Roohi to. You should have told something to V. You should not let anyone insult you." They both nodded. God I feel like old woman on my marriage day. Darn it.
