Peter is in the school sitting on the stone brick, then he looks behind him before he smiles and raises his hand, greeting Shelley who waves to him smiling.
"There's a rumor going around that you're a werewolf." Letha starts as she sits near him. He looks to see Nellie approaching them with a lot of chocolate products in a big plastic with a big chocolate bucket in her hand taking a piece of it.
"Hey. You Ok?" He asks, pointing at her plastic bag
"Hey and yeah. Nice semi-usual outfit. Well I ain't sure." And bites another piece.
"Well, are you?" Letha asks him again.
"What do you think?" As he takes the straw from her hand. She looks at him and the straw before putting her juice down .
"Take two." She grabs her fork before looking ahead to see Nellie's leaving. "Wait Nellie." Nellie looks at her for a second. "What are you doing with my cousin Roman?" As Nellie slowly walks back to them.
"What needs to be done."
"And about you?"
"Same. But not his way for sure." And takes another piece.
"You do know we're in high school and not a Clint Eastwood movie." She jokes and Peter smiles a bit.
"You ever seen High Plains Drifter?" He jokes making him and Letha chuckle and Nellie doesn't react, only takes a raw of chocolate.
Letha swallows the fruit piece in her mouth. "I'm just glad the three of you are getting along. Roman doesn't have many friends." She says before putting down the fruit slad down to take back her juice. "Excuse me." As she takes her straw back from him to use it.
"You that sure I'm not contagious? Ooh." He jokes making her almost choked in her juice.
"Fuck." Nellie immediately reacts in disbelief making them laugh slightly. "Give it back to him, fucking give back to him." As she takes a chocolate juice of her plastic bag and and takes off its straw that was glued to it. She removed its plastic cover before giving it to Letha. "Here. Clean, obviously." Letha smiles before taking it from her. "Well. I'm going." As she walks away.
"Wait, something else." Letha stops her.
"Quickly, my friend-Shelley waiting for me, senorita."
"Just promise me you'll keep him from doing something stupid." She tells them. Nellie re-wraps her chocolate bucket and replaces it in the bag, before Peter speaks first.
"Since when did I become the designated driver?" And lowers his head down to the ground to spit
"I never babysit a one-day-old baby, what's the proof I'm proper for dat job?" As she takes a big bite of the chocolate cake after unwrapping it.
"Please." Letha adds.
"All right, shit, fine. I promise." He says simply before taking a piece of his snack.
"Promise." She manages to say with a full mouth, they slightly chuckle at her sight making her swallows to the cake down. "Can I leave now?" She asks Letha who nods with a smile.
Nellie strides to the brunette girl and smiles once she closes to her. "Hey, Shell." And sits down next to her. "Your cousin wanted to take me away, how could her?" She jokes
"Now that we're talking turkey though, what can you tell me about Roman's mom?"
"Aunt Olivia? Why?"
"References. In case she asks for a loan."
"Yeah, I'll bet." She smiles before taking a sip of her juice. "Hmm. Well, as the story goes, Roman's dad was touring biomedical facilities in England when he first met Olivia. Further reports indicate that he was bedazzled right from the start."
