Lego Monkie Kid (OC and Genderbend Insert)

S2 E6: Game On

(A/n: This episode is going to be altered a bit, so hope you all enjoy it!)

The scene opens to Monkey King's hut as the camera pans to the inside. Inside the hut shows MK, Liù, Mei and Sandy as they are looking around for something.

MK: "Maybe under here? There's gotta be something?"

Sandy: "Remind me what is it we're looking for again. Oh, oh, is this it? *holds up a cube*"

MK grabs the cube with his speed before he groans and throws it offscreen.

MK: "I'm trying to find something that would make me and Liù super, super powerful, so we can defeat-"

He remembers the Lady Bone Demon before it flashes back to MK.

MK: "Someone. Anyone. You know, to be sure I got what it takes to take on the next big bad! *epically poses*"

Sandy: "I thought Monkey King was training you with remote lessons."

Mei puts on a VR headset and sits down on the couch as she grabs the game controller.

Liù: "Yeah, and he already learned all the different lessons the Monkey King of Vacations left for him to do."

MK demonstrates all the things she mentioned before he slumps a bit.

MK: "I don't know, I just... I feel like I'm ready for something bigger. More powerful. Ugh."

Sandy: "*reads from a scroll* 'A wise warrior listens to their allies in the heat of battle.' What's that mean?"

MK: "It means I need to be stronger. Be so powerful that it'd be certain defeat to fight me."

Liù: "I definitely need a challenge as well. With all the stuff that's been happening, I need to up my game if I were to go against something in the future."

Sandy: "Maybe you both need a break. Just kick back for a bit."

MK: "Uh, did Monkey King ever take breaks?"

Liù: "For five hundred years, yes, yes he did. And he's supposedly on vacation right now, what's the difference?"

Mei: "Plus, he's long some serious hours on this game."

MK/Liù: "What?"

They look behind them to see the tv is on with the title of the game on it.

Mei: "Uh, huh. Like, 10,000."

Liù: "Wait, there's no way that he would spend his time playing some dumb video game."

MK: "*gasps* Unless... Yes! This must be it! *grabs the headset from Mei*"

Mei: "Hey!"

MK: "You said it before Mei. Monkey King is never gonna just give me the answers straight!"

Mei: "I said that?"

Liù: "I don't think she said that dude."

MK: "But still, he must have left this game for a reason! It has to contain the knowledge of some unbelievably, powerful new ability! *puts the headset on*"

Liù: "*looks at the box* No, I'm pretty sure it's just a cruddy, old video game that Monkey King likes because the price is cheap?"

MK: "This is amazing! It looks just like Monkey King's house!"

Mei: "That's because I haven't turned it on yet."

She presses a button and the game turns on as a digital MK is seen inside the game.
