Lucy's Pov:
i haven't seen Tim in two days with work and cases but I'm standing celina john grey and Angela and we were talking about the jake and sava stuff then i heard Aaron say "7 adam 100 i just found a body and it's sergeant Tim bradford" over the radio all i feel is my heart break and i just drop to the floor crying. I feel someone catch me but i can't see who it is cause the tears are just rushing out my eyes
Angela's pov:
my heart breaks hearing that over the radio my best friend is dead i look at Lucy who is completely frozen but shaking and i see her legs starting to give out so i quickly catch her then sit on the floor with her trying to calm her down but she's to broken and overwhelmed to pay attention it's me " Lucy it's gonna be okay i promise you have us" i say softly rubbing her arm " ITS NOT OKAY I LOST THE ONLY PERSON WHO MAKES ME FEEL SAFE NOW I HAVE NO ONE" Lucy screams then stands up and walks off into the locker room. i feel my eyes water then grey hugging me and saying"Angela she didn't mean it she's just broken and just needs time to her self " i look at grey and reply "i know but i don't want her to do anything she isn't thinking straight" just as i said that we see Lucy changed into
her normal clothes and she puts something in greys office then she walks out and out the door of the station
Grey pov:
After Lucy walked out we all go to my office and we see her badge and off duty gun on my desk "she's leaving the station" i say as i pick up the form on my desk "she can't just leave like that can she" celina asked concerned " with the form she can" Angela said sitting down then saying "i've lost both my good friends now" i take a deep breathe then i say "i'm not accepting her form it can stay here until she's in the right head space" just as in finished my sentence Tim walked into my office "why is everyone wearing the black ribbon what officer has passed
Tim's pov:
I just finished a case with metro and i get back to the station and i see officers with the black ribbon so i went to greys office seeing him holding a leavers form and a badge and gun on his table and i was "what officer has passed" i look at grey then Angela and Angela looks at me and says "YOU FRICKN JERK DONT EVER DO THAT PRANK AGAIN" i get really confused and go "what prank i haven't done anything i've been out with metro on a case wait is that lucy's where is she" Grey took a breathe and goes "we don't know son she heard Aaron say they found your body and she went to the locker room changed and put this on my desk" I start freaking out cause i know Lucy hasn't been herself recently then Aaron walks in and said "the body isn't tim's it's jake's" Angela gave him a look and go "we know he's right there now we have to find Lucy"
Lucy's pov
i walk out the station and i just drive to the apartment walk in and grab one of tim's hoodies and put it on then i just go to bed and cry until i can't deal with it anymore i went to the kitchen and found my hidden tequila and i have two shots before i go back to bed and keep crying.
Tim's pov:
"i'll go to the apartment if anyone finds her please ring me" i said walking out the station really panicked about Lucy i start driving and try to call her but it keeps going to voicemail i turn on my lights and sped to her apartment i get there and i use my key and i see her bag and a bottle of tequila in the kitchen then i hear sobs coming from the bedroom i walk to the door and go "luce"
Lucy's pov:
i hear someone say my name it sounded like Tim but i couldn't be sure i then heard my name again and i just lose it "WHO EVER THE FUCK IS PRANKING ME RIGHT NOW FUCK OFF ITS NOT FUNNY" i then feel arms wrap around me and i smelt Tim's cologne i look up and just slap his forearm "Tim that was fucking funny at all" i say as i start breaking down crying again "luce it wasn't a prank i promise i was out with metro and the body was jake's" Tim said looking at me, all i done was fall back in his arms bawling my eyes out and say " i thought i lost you i couldn't handle it" i felt Tim kiss my forehead and say "what do you mean couldn't handle it" i take a breathe " i quit mid wilshire i couldn't handle being there without you your the only one i feel safe with" i feel Tim's grip around me tighten "luce i love you okay i would never prank you like that or leave you that way ok" i look at Tim and say "i love you too" then go back to burying my face in his chest
Tim's pov:
my heart shattered hearing that from Lucy i just hold her tight reassuring her that i'm here and i haven't left her i start hearing soft breathes i look down and Lucy had fallen asleep i kick my shoes off and lay down on the pillows with her head on my chest and i text grey
Grey
T: found her she's okay definitely scared and upset though
G: that's good she's okay son do you want some time off with her
T: yes please, it broke my heart hearing her cry and explain what she felt like.
G:i bet son but if yous need anything text me
i put my phone away then just cuddle Lucy rubbing her back
2 hours later
Lucy's pov:
i start waking up and i hear Tim "good morning babe" i just look at him and hug him and say "i don't want to lose or leave you anymore" i feel Tim kiss my forehead and hugs me tighter "i'm not going to leave you okay i have some days off grey have me them to stay with you" it then hits me that i quit mid Wilshire "i better start looking for a new job i guess" i said still not letting go of Tim, i then heard Tim say "you don't have to grey didn't want to put the form in so he left it and was going to give you a few days" i said a shaky breathe "okay we can talk to him later i'm just glad your actually here"
