Nyla and Angela line up at the car then Lucy runs for it the guy keeps trying to shoot her but missed until he gets one bullet perfectly in her side and fell to the floor but rolled then stopped. once the shooter saw she was down he ran, Angela and nyla wait for Lucy to get up but she didn't they quickly run over to her and find bloody come out of her the right stomach Angela puts pressure the tells nyla to call a ra "7 Detective Nyla we need a ra at our location and alert sergeant Gray and Sergeant Bradford" Angela looked at Lucy "come on Lucy stay with us" one even a minute later Tim pulls up "ANGELA" Angela took a breathe before yelling "OVER HERE" Tim ran up and asked "why did you get me alerted", Angela took a shaky breathe then Tim said "IS THAT LUCY" he ran over to Angela and saw Lucy unconscious "Baby can you hear me" Tim said rubbing his hand through her hair "WHERE IS THE AMBULANCE" Tim said with tears in his eyes "pulling up now" Nyla said looking at Tim "come on luce don't leave i need you Tamara" grey gets there and goes straight to Nyla and she tells grey what happened then the paramedics run up one of them asked "what do we got" "35 year old gunshot wound to the stomach been unconscious 5 minutes" they load her on the gurney and Tim rides with them to the hospital
in the ambulance
Tim holds lucy's hand and said "come on baby don't give up" Tim is holding back tears thinking he's going to lose Lucy "bradford?" Tim looks up and sees Emmet "Emmet you still work with LAFD" Tim said not letting go of lucy's hand "yeah took a little time off but came back, how's PD been" Emmet asked a little confused on why he was holding her hand "it's been alright in metro now thanks to Lucy so mainly quite shifts" Tim said then he looked back down at Lucy who was pale and not looking like herself "how did she get you in metro" Emmet asked checking her vitals "A whole process but atleast she didn't have to transfer stations and i can still annoy her at lunch well Angela teases us" just as Tim finished lucy's heart rate dropped "How much longer " emmet yelled to the driver "4 mins out" Tim wasn't having it and pulled his TO voice out "WELL HURRY UP IM NOT LOSING THE LOVE OF MY LIFE" Emmet went quite knowing Tim would kill someone at this point they get to the hospital and Lucy is rushed to the OR
The waiting room
Tim is sitting in a corner shaking with tears in his eyes thinking "how am i going to tell Tamara what if she doesn't make it" but he snaps out his thoughts when Angela just wraps her arms around him and he heard her whisper "she's going to be okay Tim trust me" Tim just breaks and starts crying "her heart rate dropped Ange i can't lose her she's the main thing in my life" Angela's heart broke hearing that and didn't stop hugging Tim. Tim ended up falling asleep on Angela's shoulder and grey walked in. "how is she" grey said grabbing a seat across from Angela "in surgery her heart rate dropped in the ambulance but it didn't stop" Angela said looking at grey "and Tim?" he said as he looked at Tim who was completely asleep "scared, he can't lose her Grey she's literally the rock in his life he wouldn't be who he is without her" Angela said gaining tears in her eyes grey stood up and rubbing Angela's arm "Chen is strong she'll fight this". about 1.5 hours later the doctor walked in "Family of Lucy Chen" Tim woke up and flew up and said " yes here" "She's going to be okay she's had to have blood transfusions due to blood lost but we got the bullet out and she's stable" Tim felt like he could finally breathe then asked "can i go see her" "she's in room 205 and i'm off to call her emergency contact" the doctor said well walking off "no need i'm right here" Tim said walking to Lucy's room

Tim gets to her room and she's still sleeping and has her colour back he grabs the seat and holds her hand resting his head on her legs he ends up falling back a sleeping knowing she's going to be okay. (2 hours later) Lucy starts waking up but feels something on her legs she wakes up and sees Tim sleeping on her legs well holding her hand she then sees his phone so she takes it and takes a photo of him and sends it to her self. after about 5 minutes she runs her free hand through his hair Tim starts waking up then looks at Lucy who is looking at him with a smile Tim wasted no time with hugging her but being careful of her stitches "your okay" Tim said trying not to cry again "i'm fine Tim trust me" Lucy said wrapping her arms around Tim the second him felt her hugging him he started crying "baby what's wrong" Lucy asked kissing his forehead "i though i was going to lose you, i can't lose you your the only good thing i have left" Tim said cuddled into lucy's chest "Timothy you were gonna lose me all i could think when i got shot was you you were my only thought" Tim looked up and Lucy and kissed her " come here and cuddle me and we can go to sleep" Lucy said pulling Tim making him move so he was cuddled into her neck and and they fell sleep embracing each other. Grey and Angela walk into lucy's room to see them cuddling and crashed out asleep "awwww" Angela said taking a photo "Lopez cut it out let's go and let them sleep" grey said laughing
Lucy couldn't work for 2 months as she had to heal and go to the therapist LAPD gave her
