Chapter 19

As Oner settled down in the cafeteria with his lunch tray, he was quickly joined by Zeus and Keria. Their mischievous grins told him they had something up their sleeves.

"Missed you, Hyeonjoon!" Zeus exclaimed with an exaggerated sigh, plopping down next to him.

Oner rolled his eyes. "We hung out just two days ago, Wooje."

Keria, ever the straight-to-the-point one, chimed in, "Details. We need details. How have you survived with Gumayusi for so long?"

"He's not that bad, you know," Oner said defensively.

Zeus choked on his drink, coughing and laughing. "You've got to be kidding!"

Oner sighed and began to recount his experiences. "Okay, fine. He's shameless and incredibly mischievous. He always finds some weird excuse to make me feed him, and he's as picky as a toddler. Every time he doesn't like something, he'll play around with it, making it ten times harder for me."

Keria leaned in, intrigued. "Go on."

Oner's face reddened slightly, realizing he had started on a rant. "And...well, the other day, he pulled me onto his lap while I was feeding him," he admitted, regretting the words the moment they left his lips.

Both Keria and Zeus looked at him with wide eyes. "What?!" Keria exclaimed.

Oner groaned, burying his face in his hands. "I can't believe I just told you that."

Keria tilted her head, her eyes narrowing thoughtfully. "Are you sure Gumayusi doesn't have some ulterior motives with all this?"

Oner looked perplexed. "What do you mean?"

"Sitting on laps? Being fed? That's definitely not in the secretary job description," Keria pointed out with a smirk.

Oner's cheeks grew even redder. "I know, but that's just how Minhyeong is."

Keria leaned in even closer, her voice a low whisper. "That's not how he was with any of his past secretaries."

The revelation made Oner pause, his thoughts racing. However, trying to shake off the embarrassment and the implications of what Keria was suggesting, he quickly said, "Let's just drop it, okay?"

Both Keria and Zeus chuckled at Oner's flustered state, clearly enjoying the situation. As lunch continued, the trio joked and chatted, but deep down, Oner couldn't help but ponder Keria's words.
