Oner stepped out of the store, his face a bright shade of red and his lips pressed into a thin line, trying to maintain his composure. His steps were a tad bit hurried, eager to put distance between him and the mischievous Chovy. Gumayusi, amused by Oner's flustered state, quickly caught up with him.
"You're walking pretty fast there. Running away from your own reflection?" Gumayusi teased with a playful smirk.
Oner shot him a sulky look. "I can't believe you bought those outfits. I'll never wear them!"
Gumayusi chuckled. "Never say never. Besides, you looked... fascinating."
Oner groaned. "Can we please not talk about it?"
Before Oner could say more, his stomach let out an audibly loud rumble. The timing couldn't have been more impeccable. Gumayusi raised an eyebrow, his smile growing even wider. "Someone's hungry."
Oner's blush deepened. "It's been a long day."
Gumayusi laughed, patting Oner's shoulder reassuringly. "Come on, let's get some lunch. I know a great place."
"It's probably some expensive, posh place where they serve tiny portions on huge plates," Oner mumbled under his breath, although Gumayusi heard him and grinned.
Gumayusi parked the car outside an upscale restaurant with a minimalist yet elegant facade. The valet opened their doors, and as they walked in, Oner couldn't help but gawk at the opulent interiors.
"Gumayusi! This is... I can't... I mean..."
Gumayusi laughed, pulling Oner close to his side. "Relax. It's just lunch. Besides, after that fashion show, I believe you've earned it."
They were led to a cozy booth with a panoramic view of the city. The ambiance was intimate, with soft, dim lighting and gentle instrumental music playing in the background. Gumayusi, ever the gentleman, pulled out the chair for Oner, making him blush even more.
Oner looked at the menu, his eyes widening at the prices. Gumayusi, noticing his discomfort, decided to take the lead. "I'll order for the both of us, okay?"
Oner nodded, appreciative of the gesture. "Thank you."
As they waited for their food, the atmosphere grew relaxed. Gumayusi took a sip of his drink, leaning back in his seat. "So, Oner, tell me about your childhood. Were you always this cute and shy?"
Oner laughed. "You're relentless, aren't you? Well, I grew up in a small town. Life was simple, and I was always the quiet one."
Gumayusi smiled, genuinely interested. "I can't picture that. You, quiet in a corner while the world passes by."
Oner shrugged. "Life was different back then. But it's what shaped me."
Gumayusi nodded. "I've always been in the city. Bright lights, tall buildings. It's chaotic, but it's home."
Oner's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Have you ever wanted something different? A quieter life, perhaps?"
Gumayusi paused, considering the question. "I used to, especially when the pressure got too much. But then, I met people who made the chaos worth it. People like you."
Oner blushed again, the corners of his mouth twitching into a shy smile. The conversation flowed easily from there, each revelation bringing them closer, bridging the gap of the unknown.
