The group continued walking in silence for a few minutes. Anastasia wished that she was in her apartment and Harold never tried to kill her. 

The group walked around the corner and saw dead bodies on the ground and an 18 wheeler parked in front of an apartment complex.

"What the hell is that?" Shane asked. They were all wondering the same thing. They walked closer towards the vehicle to get down the street.

"Is that tear gas?" Shane asked.

"Smoke canister." Leo answered. Anastasia started getting nervous so she took her gun out of the waistband of her pants and cocked it. "Stay close. Stay quiet." Leo told all of them.

Anastasia held on to the back of Leo's jacket with one hand and held her gun with the other. She felt her heart rate go up as she counted how many dead bodies were on the ground. "10." She whispered.

Suddenly a man jumps out of the dark alley and runs into Liz. Liz screamed as the man grabbed her. Leo ran over and pulled the man off of her. Shane pulled his girlfriend into his arms and the man that came out of the alley laid flat on his back.

"We were just doing our duty." The bloody man said.

"Is she okay?" Anastasia and Leo asked at the same time. She stayed back and stood with Eva and Cali, not wanting to get in Leo's way.

"That scared the shit out of me." Liz stated.

"He's dead." Anastasia looked at the man covered in blood. Leo looked down at him and nodded his head.

"Look at his uniform. Is this one of the bastards that came into our building? And that looks like their truck." Cali said.

"Alright, stay here." Leo sighed. Anastasia followed him and they walked to the truck. She had her gun in her hands with the safety off, ready to shoot anyone. Leo checked under the truck and Anastasia checked the sides. After seeing that there was nobody alive, Leo waved the others over.

Leo waved Anastasia over to where he was and she walked over. "What?" She asked as she stood in front of him.

"Check it out." He told her and lifted her up into the back of the vehicle.

Anastasia walked around the giant gun and back to where there were monitors. She furrowed her brows and looked at the glowing red dots on a map on multiple monitors along with traffic cameras.

"Leo." She called over. He jumped up and got in, he helped the rest of the girls in as well.

"This is some high tech shit." Cali said.

"Yeah I know." Anastasia ran a hand through her hair.

"Somebody spent a lot of money trying to do some heavy duty purging. They are accessing traffic cams, looking for targets I guess." Cali pointed out.

"I think these dots are apartment complexes in the poorer side of town." Anastasia told Leo. He was standing right behind her and nodded his head.

"Traffic cams are controlled by the government. How did they get into these, I mean who are these people?" Liz furrowed her brows while she looked at the traffic cams.

"Maybe you just answered your own question." Cali said.

"Look at this." Leo pointed at the red dots that Anastasia showed him. "7th street, is that your building?" Leo asked Eva. She leaned down and looked at the glowing red dot.

"Yeah, but why is it all red?" Eva asked.

"You guys are targets." Anastasia said.

"Yeah, you're being targeted for something, along with all these other buildings." Leo started pointing all other dots on the monitors.

"Fuck me." Anastasia sighed and started picking at her nails.

"The truck is fucked." Shane came back and told them.

"No good?" Leo asked.

"No, the engine is all blown out of something." Shane said.

"Hey, look at this." Cali walked to the front of the truck and saw a red x on the NFFA sign. "That's Carmelo's mark, mom." Cali faced her mom. Eva walked forward to her daughter.

"Have you heard of that group?" Anastasia asked Leo.

"Yeah, you?"

"Yep, I actually have a friend who is in the group." She smiled.

"Everybody got a weapon?" Leo asked. "Hey grab this." Leo told Liz.

"Shit, Leo, we have to go." Anastasia pointed at the truck turning down the road and coming towards them.

"Go, go!" Leo yells at the group telling them to go. He jumped down and grabbed Anastasia's waist to pull her down.

"I could have jumped." She said as they ran down the alley.

Leo ignored her and ran to the front of the group. They ran down the dark alley and stopped at the end. There was a group of people, cheering, Anastasia assumed there was fire as well because of the orange glow.

Leo looked around the corner and saw a few guys stabbing people and fire everywhere.

Suddenly, a rat scurried up Liz's leg, making her to scream and kick a nearby can. Anastasia glanced up at the sky while gripping her gun tightly in her hands.

"Take this." Leo whispered to Anastasia. She looked at him and slowly nodded her head, grabbing the gun out of his hand. "Shh." He told the group and looked back towards the street.

A man came around the corner but before he could do anything, Leo quickly grabbed him. Leo put the man in a choke hold and began to suffocate the man. Anastasia tried to close her eyes and look away, but she couldn't. Her eyes were glued onto her friend's figure as he took the life of another man.

After the man stopped breathing, Leo grabbed the gun out of Anastasia's hand. She closed her eyes and shook her head.

"Come on." Leo told them. The group all followed and they walked across the street to the subway.
