No texts from Haechan.
She didn't even get to see him at campus. Other than Nara, he's the first that made Serin wonders about someone's presence and looked for them.
Serin is back with her old best friend accompanying her.
Loneliness.
Now she's thinking back about what Hana told her days ago.
But you don't like him, so what if he left? Aren't you the one who told him to go off at the first place?
With heavy steps, she stepped inside the usual restaurant.
She looked around before flashing a smile to the familiar woman. "Oh? Serin!" The woman happily greeted the girl and pulled her into a warm hug.
It's her first time coming here alone, usually she'll visit Haechan's family restaurant with him but since she hasn't heard anything from him, she's coming here alone.
She's here not only because she needs delicious meals but she's also needs some advice from the male's first love which is his mother.
"Why are you here alone? Where's Haechan?"
Serin flashed a small smile, taking a seat on the empty table along with Mrs. Lee. "We haven't contact each other or meet for 2 days now, I guess he's busy with assignments" Mrs. Lee nodded her head while humming.
She called the waiter and took Serin's order.
The woman then tilted her head, watching the younger girl after the waiter left. "Is there anything wrong, Serin?" Her question made Serin raised her eyebrows and chuckled.
"Uh, not really"
"Are you sure? You can talk about it with me you know. It's about Haechan isn't it?" Mrs. Lee sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Should I teach him a lesson?"
"No, it's fine Mrs. Lee!" Serin laughed before rubbing her nape in embarrassment. "Actually... I've been thinking about something and I already asked to my parents but I guess I need more advice"
Mrs. Lee smiled warmly and hummed. "You can tell me anything that's bothering your mind, sweetie"
Serin lowered her head and played with her fingers.
"You see... I never experience to be in a relationship before and never try to be in love before as I prioritize my studies more than anything and Haechan is the first guys who had the guts to talk to me and you know I repeatedly pushed him away at first but as time passed I became fine with his presence around me and I'm surprisingly feel comfortable around him"
The woman pouted and sighed dreamingly. "Aww... I've never heard about someone talking about my naughty son like that" Serin chuckled in embarrassment and avoided Mrs. Lee gaze.
"I see... You're wondering about your feelings towards him know hm?"
"Yeah, I feel jealous when other girls told him to leave me for them but he's always convince me that he won't listen to them. I also couldn't help but get mad when I heard someone talk bad about him"
Mrs. Lee nodded her head, "what's in your mind now?"
"... Haechan?"
She smiled, "you're thinking about what he's up to because he hasn't reach you out yet?" — "yeah..."
The woman giggled and patted Serin's shoulder in comforting, "I'm sure you know what you feels about him, be confident about it and let him know, he's also waiting for you, I believe that"
Serin pressed her lips into thin lines, "but... Will it be fine if I'm being with him?" The woman furrowed her eyebrows in confusion because scoffed in disbelief.
"Why would it won't be fine?? I'd be the happiest woman to know my son finally loyal to one woman and a woman could accept him they way he is, besides you're just perfect for him" Serin chuckled and nodded her head.
Just in time, her meals finally arrived.
"Go ahead enjoy your meals, tell me more what's bothering you. I'll remove all those negative thoughts inside your mind"
