"Serin, Haechan got into an accident!"
One simple sentence enough to awake Serin from her deep sleep, immediately rush to change as soon as possible.
Chest moving up and down, gripping the steering tightly, breathing heavily as her heart beat twice time quicker. A lot of negative thoughts filled her mind.
How could this happened??
Why everyone around her kept getting hurt? First it was Nara and now it's Haechan. Nara is barely getting well yet and still depends on wheelchair or crutches.
And seriously now Haechan?
All her sunshines got hurt.
"Please be fine, please be fine" the same words came out from her mouth like a mantra while she's driving towards her destination.
She just met his mother yesterday and talked about him. All she wanted to do today was meet him and pour out what has been bugging her and maybe be in his comfy embrace.
She wasn't expected a nightmare after waking up from a lovely dreams she had while sleeping.
"Lee Haechan, you have to be fine"
Panicking, she looked around like a lost puppy, looking for familiar faces on the lobby after she parked her car and entered the hospital.
"Serin."
Her eyebrows knitted together after a familiar face greeted her. As she remembers, his name is Mark, Haechan's friend.
He's the one who called her earlier. No time to ask how Mark contacted her but Serin met him a few times before because of Haechan.
"How could this happened? Did he join races??"
Mark shook his head, "no, he's not. He told me he was on his way to you after we hang out because he wanted to eat with you. I didn't expected to receive another call from his number but it was some random stranger who helped him, telling me he got into a serious accident"
Her heart dropped.
He was on his way to meet her? He wanted to eat with her?
"A car hit him from behind which made him collided with another car in front of him, that's what the witnessed explained to me"
A tear escaped from Serin's eyes as she dropped to the ground, sobbing.
She was sure he is doing fine and was excited to meet him. Her excitement crashed down just like that.
"Doctor said only one person can come at once, I already told his family and they already visited him, you can see him now"
Mark comfortingly patted Serin's back.
"He just want to meet me, Mark..."
Mark lowered his head, "I'm sorry, Serin. This is also painful for me to take, but he'll be fine, trust me"
