Tapping her foot on the ground, she patiently waited for the presence to arrive while looking around the huge airport.
She watched the other family greeting their family member one by one. There's some people who greeted them with tears and there's some people got greeted with a happy smile.
"Mama! Mama!"
She watched as a kid around 2 years old running with her tiny feet towards her mother who approached her with a wide smile. Her husband giggled at the scene, following from behind.
Serin pursed her lips together and intertwined her hands together, awkwardly looking away from the family.
What a cute family.
She took a deep breath and turned to the watch on her wrist.
Where is he?
He said he'll be arriving by this time. But where is he?
Serin pouted a little and looked around, looking for a face she's familiar with.
Until a pair of arms wrapped around her waist from behind, startling the confused girl. She was about to scream in surprise but as soon as she looked down on the person's wrist, she immediately knew it was the man she has been waiting and missing for a month.
"Haechan!"
She turned around, greeting him with a wide smile before throwing herself in his embrace, snuggling her face on his neck.
"Darling, it's tickle" he laughed, wrapping his arms around her, hugging her tightly.
Serin didn't say anything and just ignored him, staying in his embrace for a moment, smelling his perfume that she has missed for a month.
"I miss you so much"
Haechan hummed and rubbed her back, "I miss you more, you look so beautiful today" he said before breaking the hug and stared on her face with a smile never leaving both of their faces.
He giggled and caressed her hair that is short now.
"And so cute"
She grinned and reached his luggage, clinging her other arm around his. "Let's go home, I cooked for you and made desserts for us" he smiled and followed the girl towards the parking.
Now it feels complete.
Their hearts feels complete after seeing each other presence and be in each other embrace. Haechan guess this experience is enough, he doesn't want to leave her anymore, not again for this long.
Butterflies in their stomach along the ride towards Serin's apartment. Serin could feel her heart beating rapidly due to the excitement and happiness she felt this morning.
Her man is home.
Her love is finally back in her arms.
And her second home is back. She feels safe again.
