A month later...
Donghyuck carefully picked her up in a bridal style and brought her to the bed.
"I can do it myself" Nara muttered after he gently placed her on the soft mattress. He looked up to her and flashed a smile. "I know but I don't want you to do it yourself" he sat beside her after grabbing an ointment.
Nara just took off her casted a day ago and she had been complained about her cramp calf from times to times so here Donghyuck is, gently massaging her leg before she go to bed.
"Are you tired, Hyuck?"
The male looked up to her, humming in confused. "Tired of what?" Nara shrugged, "taking care of me" he chuckled and shook his head. "If I'm tired I quit taking care of you a month ago but no. You're not a burden to me instead I feel like I want to take care of you all the time. So no, I'm not tired"
Nara pressed her lips into thin lines.
"How can you not tired, taking care of 2 person at the same time," she muttered referring to herself and Haechan who was still in the hospital.
Donghyuck still go back and forth from campus, Nara's apartment and hospital to check on his important people. Lie if Donghyuck said he's not tired. He's tired about stepping into hospital everyday, he felt like it has become his second home now.
But he never complains about it to anyone. Never.
Instead he feels like this is the only time he could spends all his time with the people he loves and focus on them better. Moreover Haechan since that naughty kid used to playfully hates him and loves hanging out with his friends.
"It's my responsibility, Nara. You don't have to worry about my tiredness, I'm always fine as long as my brother and you are fine"
Nara pouted, "stop making me fall twice and more for you, Hyuck" he giggled and shook his head at her cuteness.
He got up from the bed and went to wash his hands before came back to the girl.
He chuckled when the girl looked at her with sparkling eyes. He won't ever get tired to admire her beautiful sparkling eyes every time she stares at him.
"Don't look at me like that, you have too beautiful eyes" Nara grinned and shrugged. "You're just too admirable for me to not stare" he scoffed and pinched her cheeks playfully which made both of them laughed together.
The girl lie down on the bed and pulled the blanket, covering her body.
"It's getting late" she muttered and he hummed, "yeah, go to bed"
"What about you?"
"I'll sleep at the couch after you sleep" Nara pouted. "Stay with me, you can sleep here..." Donghyuck fixed her hair with warm smile plastering on his face.
"It's fine"
Nara rolled her eyes, "it's not like we never cuddle to sleep before. Not to mention you are my boyfriend now! It's not wrong" he chuckled. "You just want to hug me" — "of course I do!" She whined.
The male sighed in defeated and got on the bed beside her which made Nara smiled from ear to ear. She immediately leaned closer to him and rested her head on his chest, wrapping her arms around him.
"You're like a koala"
"I don't care, I love you"
Donghyuck grinned and caressed her hair softly. "I love you more, baby" her eyes widened and she looked up to him in surprise which made Donghyuck stared at her in confusion.
"Say that again!"
"Say what?"
"What you said earlier!"
He furrowed his eyebrows and chuckled, "baby?"
The girl squealed and back to hug him again but tighter and happier this time. "I love that, call me that everyday" Donghyuck laughed at Nara who blinking her eyes cutely at him. "Go to bed, Nara"
"I will, after you kiss me" he chuckled in disbelief and shook his head which made the girl grinned, waiting for her wish to be granted.
She's clingy and loves him too much.
But he loves it.
He sighed and looked at her with sleepy eyes before playfully rolled his eyes and leaned in, pressing his lips on her cheeks which made the girl giggled in happiness.
"There, now go to sleep"
"I will!" She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes, happy smile still plastered on her face.
Donghyuck wrapped his arms around Nara, sharing warmth with his girlfriend.
If home is a person, Nara would answer Donghyuck is her home. Her best comfort place after her family.
They are each other's second home. Made for each other.
