Repeatedly enter and exit the room, the male hurriedly brought a bowl of warm water before ran out and came back with a small towel with him.
Donghyuck panicked when Nara was burning hot and unable to get up from the bed. She had caught a high fever this morning.
"Baby" he called before compressing the towel on top of her forehead, waking up the girl. Nara slowly flutter her eyes opened and flashed a small smile at him which made Donghyuck furrowed his eyebrows.
How could she just smile at this situation?!
"I'm okay..." She weakly uttered, reaching his wrist but he shook his head, taking a seat next to her.
"I told you to not stressing much about this and take it easy, you're too busy with works and for our preparation, I said I can handle it, but you denied, now look at you"
"Hyuck... You're nagging like mom" she whined and Donghyuck only huffed before shaking his head.
His fingers softly fixed her hair, watching her in worries.
Their wedding is by this weekend, means they got 3 days more and suddenly Nara caught high fever.
He swore he multiple times nagged at her to take it easy and said he can handle most of the works also asked to take a few weeks off from works.
But she's too stubborn.
She managed the catering, finding hall, going back and forth to Serin's boutique for her dress and Haechan's suits.
Like— he can do most of that but she always done it much earlier before he could do anything about it.
"Let's postpone our wedding date, hm?"
"No! We can't do that, Hyuck. 3 days left..." Nara immediately shook her head which left Donghyuck pressing his lips into thin lines. "You can't even get up, baby"
Nara huffed and forced herself to get up, brushing his hands away from holding her.
"I can..."
"Yoo Nara"
Nara innocently smiled and placed away the towel from her forehead. "I'll be fine— we can't postpone the date, it's already fix. I'm okay"
Donghyuck frowned and took away the towel from her. "No work till you fully heal— and no more skipping meals. You skip meals a lot of times, that's why you got sick!"
She nodded her head and pinched his cheeks gently, "I got it, I got it.. you're so cute"
Donghyuck shook his head, "lay down again, just rest for today. I'll cook for you, call me if you need anything"
He got up from the bed and walked to the door.
"Hyuck can I have ice cream?"
"Later!" He squinted his eyes at her which made the girl giggled cutely.
