When Felix wakes up, there is no one else around him. It's like it has been since the first time, but the spot in bed next to him is still warm. That's the only difference. Felix knows he's not tied to the bed, he can get up and walk anywhere in the room, but he doesn't know if his footsteps would alert anyone else.

He wasn't going to risk it. Even if he wanted to see if it'd attract Jisung. Then again, the warmth of another person was all he wanted, and if he got that... Felix wasn't too sure he cared anymore. Felix has hope. Hope that everything is going to be okay.

But on the other hand? What if he doesn't make it out? What if he never sees his brother and his friends again? What if he's supposed to accept that, and Jisung saying he could get out was a lie? What if Jisung himself was lying to him?

Jisung was one of the people who had kidnapped him, but the comfort he found in the older boy was unbelievable. It was the same amount of comfort he felt with Jooyeon. He wasn't sure if he hated it or not. Having someone to depend on might be good for him. Then again, that could be what they use against him.

Or maybe, he's thinking way too much into this.

"Hyunjin, baby. We can't do this to him." Jisung mutters, glaring at the door in front of him. Hyunjin sighs and puts a delicate hand on the small of Jisung's back. "I know. You don't want to do this anymore than I do."

It was fucked up. Both of them knew it was, and yet there was nothing they could do about it. Jisung had told Hyunjin what happened to Felix. Somehow, someone heard them and snitched to Chan.

Their punishment wasn't something either of them liked. Or even remotely wanted to do, but they didn't even have a choice. It made Jisung realize how Felix must have felt when he realized he didn't have a choice in being kidnapped, either.

It also made him realize that he can't trust Seungmin and Jeongin as well as he thought he could.

Hyunjin takes a deep breath, his gaze shifting from Jisung to the door. "We have to do this, Ji. I know you don't want to hurt him, I don't either. But the others? You know what they wanted from him."

"It's better that we do it than one of them." And with that, they open the door. It creaks open and bounces when it hits the latch on the other side but ultimately, it stays open.

Jisung could see a little Felix ball curled up under the covers and it hurt.

It broke his heart knowing what he and Hyunjin had to do to the poor boy. "Lix," Jisung calls out quietly while Hyunjin shuts the door. Jisung approaches the bed and sits on the edge.

"I heard you." Felix replies.

It hurts Jisung even more. "You know neither of us want to hurt you, right?" Hyunjin asks this time, leaning on Jisung with his entire body weight.

Felix takes a labored breath before pulling the covers off his head. "I know."

He doesn't actually think he knows that, they kidnapped him after all. But maybe he has faith in Jisung and Hyunjin that he doesn't have with any of the others.

Maybe it's because Jisung reminds him of Jooyeon. The craving to still protect his brother will always be there, even if Felix can't necessarily see him at the moment. He's glad he was the kidnapped one and not Jooyeon. Jooyeon didn't fucking deserve that– Felix didn't either.
