Outland Love {[Kiara x Vitani story]}

{Chapter. 3} lullaby sung by Mother

Far off in the dessert Outlands as lionesses searched for scraps while a cub was playing with a branch. "Vitanti, Vitani, Vitani..." a skinny mangy Lion grumbles as he heads to the cub tugging on the branch with his jaw.

"Oh hey, termite Kovu, where is that parasite Vitani?" He asks "the chosen one" he huffs before snapping Kovu's branch with one of his sharp claws and the brown cub came tumbling off as the skinny lion snickers.

Kovu quickly gets up as he growls "Nuka, where Vitani? Did you leave her out there on her own again?" Kovu huffs as he trots over to Nuka

"Hey! It's every lion out for himself out here" Nuka said as he scratches himself as the mangy lion was infested with termites "that little
parasite's gotta learn to be on her own" he adds

"Mother's gonna be mad. She told you to watch her!" Kovu growls

"Oh who care? I should've been the Chosen one" Nuka said scratching his head

"Im the oldest, strongest, smartest," he said scratching his back on a branch "oh! These termites!" He spats gnawing on himself and rubbing himself on the dry dirt.

"I chould be a leader if she'd just give me a chance" he said scratching his butt on the floor

"Pft yeah, right. Why don't you tell that to her?" Kovu asked

"Yeah? Don't think I won't !" Nuka said

Kovu chuckled "Oh yeah? Here's your chance?" Kovu scoffed

"What? Oh mother! Mother hi!" Nuka giggles "mother, I caught some field mice for you dinner I left it by the uhm...okay" Nuka mumbled as Zira walked past him.

"Hey Kovu!" Vitani exclaimed as Zira dropped her down

"Wanna fight?" She suggests as she growls as Kovu swats his tail as growls as well

"You were supposed to be watching her!" Zira spat at Nuka

"It's not his fault, I went off on my own!" Vitani said

"What were you doing?" Zira pressed

"Nothing" Vitani whimpers as she backs back and Zira moves closer to her.

"WHO has made us Ourlanders?" Zira asks

"Simba" Vitani replies nervously

"Who killed Scar?" She asks

"Simba" the nervous cub replies

"What have I told you about them?" Zira said angrily

"I'm sorry mother, she's didn't seem so bad...I thought I could possibly be..." Vitani mumbles

"Friends?!" Zira snarled baring her sharp teeth at the innocent cub.

"You thought you'd get to the daughter and Simba would welcome you with open arms? What an idea!" Zira paused as the thought about the idea "what...an idea" she snickers "you brilliant child" Zira said.

"I'm so proud of you, you have such a conniving mind that made Scar so powerful" Zira said as she strokes Vitani's pelt as Vitani tried to get out of her mother's grasp.

"Yeuch!" Nuka sticks his tongue out as Zira growls loudly Nuka chucked as Zira turns back to Vitani before picking her up and heading to their den. "Bah! Chosen one" Nuka grumbles.

Zira head inside as she places Vitani on a makeshift throne. "I now see the path to our glorious return! To power!" Zira exclaims "but I don't want..." Vitani starts as Zira cuts her off "Hush! Hush...my little one..you must be exhausted" Zira whispers.

"Sleep, my little Vitani, let your dreams take wing one day when you're big strong you will be a Queen!" Zira sings her lullaby

"Good night" Vitani whispers

"Sleep my little princess..tomorrow our training intensifies" Zira said as she walks off.
