"Hello, I'm Frank. I'm here to respond to the message you sent to my pack saying you needed a bodyguard for one Hazel Levesque." A burly teenager said to the tall man standing in the doorway of the cottage.

"Ah, yes. Your Alpha sent a message saying to expect you." The man replied. "My name is Hades. You will be protecting my daughter. I'll take you to meet her." Hades walked into the cottage leaving the door open, obviously expecting the teenager to follow. He led the teen through the cottage, which was surprisingly large, to a room on the second floor of the building. The door was painted a gold color, which was in stark contrast to the mostly black interior of the cottage. It also seemed to have more than a few locks and protective charms on it to prevent people from entering.

"Hazel, open the door. Your guard is here." Hades stated loudly as he knocked on the gold door. A shorter girl, maybe 15, opened the door. She took Frank's breath away. She had curly, dark chocolate brown hair that looked so soft. And her eyes. They were an amazing gold with a kind sparkle in them. Frank was getting a little lost in those golden orbs when he remembered that he was here for a job, not to admire pretty girls.

"So this is him?" The girl, presumably Hazel, asked her father, not even sparing Frank a glance. Hades nodded.

"Yes. I'll leave you two to get acquainted." With that, Hades walked back down the hallway they had come from. Frank turned to Hazel. He wanted to introduce himself.

"Hi. I'm Frank Zhang and-"

"Save it." Hazel interrupted. "I don't need a bodyguard and as soon as I can convince my father of that, you will be gone."

"Okay." Frank said. Hazel was surprised. He wasn't bothered by her rude words or her abruptness. "But that doesn't mean I can't do my job until then." Frank added.

"Fine. You can do your job out here." Hazel tried to slam the door in Franks face but he stuck his foot in the door and forced it back open.

"Sorry, Princess, but that's not how this works." Frank sassed. "I know that you would just lock that door and if someone came in through that window over there and tried to kill you, I wouldn't be able to stop them from out here."

"First of all, don't call me Princess." Hazel spat out the word like it tasted like rotten fish. "Second of all, I can take care of myself. I even put wards up on the window so no one could get in." She crossed her arms and smirked like she had won.

"Sure, Ms. Witch, but someone stronger than you could get past your wards with another spell. Someone stronger than you could also come to kill you and you wouldn't be able to beat them. That's why I'm here." Frank countered.

"How dare you-"

"C'mon, just let me come in. You won't even know I'm here." The burly teen promised. Hazel glared at him for a moment, but then she sighed in exasperation.

"Fine. You can come in. But don't make any noise, I'm trying to read." Hazel relented. Frank responded by walking into the room and plopping down on the end of her bed. Before she could protest, Frank was replaced by a grizzly bear cub. Hazel let out a small sound of surprise.

Bear Frank found a spot he was comfy in and laid down to sleep as Hazel got over her surprise. She went and sat back in the spot she was reading before her father knocked on her door. She started reading again, still slightly shocked that Frank had turned into a bear cub. She had to admit, he looked cute as a bear cub.

Frank wasn't really going to sleep, but he figured Hazel would be more comfortable if it looked like he was. It would also be weird if he just sat and watched her. Creepy.

But just as he closed his eyes, Frank heard Hazel whisper something.

"So adorable...."
