Add Love To Her World

Chapter 2

"Hello? Can I help you?"  Eda asked. That's when she saw them, they were the same height as her, with light brown skin green eyes, and mint-colored hair that bagged over their left eye.  Eda was a little surprised but kept her composer. "Uh hi, Ms. Clawthorne?" They asked.   Eda nodded with a small smile. "Yes? Did you need something?" Eda asked.  "Yeah, uh, I just want to talk to you, are you busy?"  They asked.  Eda shook her head, and opened her door further and let them in, then sat on her desk. "Nope, what's up?"  She asked, immediately taking in their respectful nature.

"My name is Raine whispers, I'm a new teacher, I just had a question about a couple of students I heard were also in your class?" Raine said while taking in her demeanor.  They could immediately tell why a lot of students liked her, she seemed charismatic and laid back, which usually hits well with all students, especially high schoolers.  Not to mention she was quite attractive, but that's not what Raine was here to think about. "Oh? Which ones? I hope they're not giving you any trouble"  Eda responded, and one leg crossed over the other.  She did that a lot, maybe it was to look classy, or whatever unknown reason edalyn clawthorne had.

Raine cleared their throat, then said. "No, no. No trouble, I just wanted to know the best way to... Well help them"  Raine explained, unsure if they were wording it properly.  "Which students? You know I have 7 periods right?" Eda asked a playful smile on her face, letting Raine know she was just teasing.   They chuckled lightly and handed her student files.  Eda took them, on hand now resting on her desk, then smiled when she saw the files. "Oh! Nakusa, Liam, and Cassandra" Eda beamed, which wasn't exactly expected, but Raine was pleased she would be enthusiastic about this. "Don't tell anyone, but these three are my favorite, what's going on? Are they acting up?" Eda asked, tilting her head to the side a little bit.

"No, no nothing like that.. But Liam keeps looking at me like his plotting my demise, and some other teachers said to talk to you about it... " Raine admitted nervously.   Eda snickered, which turned into a little bit of laughing.  Raine was confused, wondering if she was making fun of them for being afraid of a child, whose gaze seemed to house the cruelty of Satan.   "I-I'm sorry I'm sorry, just come here,"  Eda said, gesturing them over to her.   They walked over, now assuming a spot standing right next to her to look over her shoulder.  Eda pointed right next to Liam's abilities, where it clearly stated he had an antisocial personality disorder.  Raine looked shocked.

"You should have learned by now to read the fine print, whispers" Eda teased, a small chuckle escaping their lips. "Guess so, that ones on me" they admitted, she turned to look at them briefly, all three of them are so special, you know?"    Her voice seemed so excited to talk about those kids, Raine smiled and listened to her go on and on about Nakusa, Liam, and Cassandra, however after the afterglow of how amazing her enthusiasm was about teaching these kids and giving them a few tips, they started to take her in.  The golden hue of her eyes, that almost seemed to light up every time she said one of their names.

Their thoughts did betray them, as all they thought about for a good minute, was how attractive she was, then immediately stopped, when they came to the thought that she was probably married.   "Raine? Are you listening?" She asked, then turned to face them once again. Her heart skipped a beat when she caught their gaze.   It was soft and gentle, yet so alluring at the same time. Their eyes made her think of a topaz, a turquoise gemstone Cassandra had shown her once when she was in a phase of putting rocks in her pocket.   

Her cheeks slowly turned pink, as their gaze stayed on her, making her nervous, more nervous than she'd like to admit. Raine smiled a little, raising an eyebrow at her, trying not to figure out what her deal was, no married woman would react this way but then again, that could be their fault, and this could be classified as seduction.   "Are you single by any chance?"  They asked, then noticing her name tag on the floor.  Eda was taken aback by the question her cheeks starting the burn with embarrassment, as she muttered. "U-uh..yes, I'm... Single.. W-why?" Eda asked, as Raine walked over, now standing in front of her, and grabbed her badge off the floor.
