One moment or perhaps even a second, I was walking peacefully down the road with my friends, heading over to the boba store. Next moment, everything was pitch black.
Opening my eyes, I yawn lightly. The last thing I remember is a car rushing towards us on the way to get boba... Wait... NO! THAT DAMN CAR!!! I WANTED BOBA!!!!!!! IT COULD HAVE AT LEAST WAITED UNTIL AFTERWARDS!!!! Pouting, I look around, expecting to be in a hospital bed. Instead, I find myself in an unfamiliar environment, and by unfamiliar, I mean inside a boat. A freaking boat, of all things. I jump on the dock immediately.
"Oh, I was just about to drown you..." Says a boy who is probably in his mid-teens. Why does he look strangely like Jiang Cheng from The Untamed?
"WHAT?!" I roar, shocked, confused, and scared.
"A-Cheng! Stop teasing!" scolds a beautiful young woman.
"Yes, A-Jie," replies the teasing dude.
I look back over to the boat and saw a guy sleeping with a lotus leaf on top of his face. Along with a girl who looks like... Susy?
The girl who looks like Susy mouths, "Xiai?'
I nod and mouth back, "Are you Susy?"
The girl nods. Judging by her worried face, she is wondering the same thing as well... Where is Huang Zhe?
Upon noticing the guy in the boat, the Jiang-Cheng-looking guy yells, "WEI WUXIAN! WEI XIQUAN! GET YOUR A**ES UP NOW OR I'M LETTING OUT THE DOGS!"
"Hey! What happened to no teasing?" I ask him. He sweatdrops.
"DOGS!?" The guy in the boat yells. He immediately sits up and jumps out with Susy as we burst out laughing. The guy in the boat jumps out and swings an arm around the teasing dude, and it was at that moment I realized... I'M IN THE UNTAMED!????? HOW THE F*CK IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE????? WHAT HAPPENED TO LOGIC!!!!!!!!!!!????????? I'm so dumbfounded that my legs have to keep me walking while my mind's wondering about what the heck is happening. Am I in a dream? I look down and pinch my arm. Ow... Nope, this is reality... What happened to Huang Zhe? She was also with us before this all happened... Did she get teleported too? I hope I can meet her... Then these people... The beautiful lady must be Shijie/Jiang Yanli, the teasing guy would be Jiang Cheng/Jiang Wanyin/Sandu Shengshou/A-Cheng, and the guy who was in the boat must be Wei Ying/Wei Wuxian/A-Xian/The Yiling Patriarch/Xianxian- God why does he need/have that many names?!
As we walked, Susy- No, Wei Xiquan slides over to me and whispers, "Are you feeling okay? How did we get here?"
"I'm fine, but I have no idea on how we got here, and where's Huang Zhe?" I mutter back. Noticing that Wei Wuxian was holding a stick of tanghulu, I sneak up to him and take it.
"Is everything okay, A-Lin, A-Quan?" Shijie asks, noticing how both of us are being unusually quiet.
Xiquan nods. "Yea, I'm fine," she replies.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, everything's fine, just still a bit sleepy, I guess..." I mumble.
Wait... "A-Lin"? My name's not even Xiai anymore? I wonder what's my full name then...? I thankfully didn't have to be curious for long.
"WEI BAILIN!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE THE TANGHULU I JUST BOUGHT!!!" Wei Ying screeches as he chases after me. I am pretty skilled and fast in this world so I easily outrun him. I munch on the tanghulu while waiting for them as they catch up.
"Give it back!!" Wei Ying demands.
"Too late," I remark, making a smug face as I show him the empty stick. Wei Ying enters a traumatized state while the others sweatdrop.
"It's only tanghulu!" Xiquan tells Wei Ying. "You can go buy another." Wei Ying soon gets out of his traumatized state and back to his usual cheerful self.
After entering the inn where we were supposed to be staying, the owner soon comes to tell us that all the rooms were already booked by 'Jin-gongzi'.
"That damn peacock," me and Xiquan mutter, while Wei Ying says the same thing, but louder. Shijie and Jiang Cheng, who hear all three of us both sweatdrop while Jiang Cheng also facepalms.
"I swear, those three share the same brain cells," Jiang Cheng mutters. I, of course, hear him.
"Hey, that's not true! I'm obviously smarter than them," I argue.
"In your dreams," Wei Ying scoffs.
"Clearly, neither of you are the smartest of us," Xiquan laughs.
"Calm down, you three, we need to find somewhere to stay for the night first," Shijie reprimands.
"Right," we reply simultaneously.
After some time, Wei Ying tried to get us a room but failed, so here we are, at the entrance of the Cloud Recesses. And it must have been our gReAt LuCk that we lost our invitation (Well... I don't actually want to find it, or else Wei Ying and Lan Wangji wouldn't have their romantic moonlight duel). I mentally facepalm (and try not to laugh) when Hanguang-Jun used the silencing spell on Wei Ying (though he kind of deserves it). We had no choice other than to set up camp while Wei Ying went to look for the invitation, knowing he's gonna bring back liquor, and will end up breaking one of the Cloud Recesses' many rules. I sigh and sit down, thinking about what happened and what's gonna happen. Since The Untamed was one of my favorite shows, I know the storyline quite well. I'm not excited for the later events at all, but I do wonder if I can do something to change it. Some might say that our destinies are already written, but what if we could change it? Maybe even fix it?
I whisper in Xiquan's ear: "We know what's gonna happen next."
"Yes, indeed," she replies with a smile.
Xiquan went back to relaxing with her back against a tree while my mind continues to swirl with questions and anxiety. My thoughts are 'rudely' interrupted when Hanguang-Jun comes back out again, this time with a girl, and takes us inside without an invitation. I am surprised, honestly, and even more so when I realize who the girl is.
"Huang Zhe!!??" I gasp. I hear Xiquan gasp beside me. It felt like years since I last saw her but really, it was barely a day. Everyone else looks at me, bewildered. Shijie comes and tells me that she is the (adopted) sister of Hanguang-Jun. Shijie says that her name was "Lan Zhe", not "Huang Zhe", but I know that it's her, judging by her reaction. She also seems to remember us.
Lan Wangji stares at both me and Huan- No, Lan Zhe. "How does she know your birth name? Do you have any associations with Wei-guniang?" Hanguang-Jun asks.
"I-It's hard to explain... I knew her from when I was younger," Hu-Lan Zhe replies. I really gotta get used to her new name... Hanguang-Jun just nods and leads us in.
We catch up to Lan Zhe and whisper, "Hello! Do you have any idea on how we got here?"
She shakes her head. "No, I don't. My apologies..."
I just stare at her. "Since when did you get so... formal...?" Xiquan asks.
"Ten years in the Cloud Recesses," she replies.
"Ah, okay..." I say. Damn... I really wanna talk more... Why did we have to wait until the next morning?
"Talk to you later, then," Xiquan says, heading into our room.

Just wanted to add a few things that I forgot to add at the top- Wei Bailin is the youngest sister of Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng and Wei Xiquan (Xiquan also has her own fanfic that and is also an OC). Wei Bailin gets hit by a car and dies with her friends, Xiquan and Lan Zhe, strange thing is....they rebirthed into the show called The Untamed, also known as Mo Dao Zu Shi, together they are now on a journey to prevent the horrible things from happening and keep peace for as long as possible (Yes this is basically an OC insert)
