We rush over to the Annual Flower Damsel's house, only to find that the only things inside are a few blossoms.

"We're late... Wen Chao was already here," Wei-ge sighs in disappointment as Nie-gongzi picks up a black feather that had fallen from the Qishan Wen Sect's owl.

************

"Oh, so Wen Chao captured the Annual Flower Damsel, holding her captive and finding a fake one to cover up for her. While that was happening, he went and took the Yin Iron, right?" Nie-gongzi clarifies.

"Yup," Wei-ge confirms.

As we walk down the trail that would eventually lead us to Dafan Mountain, Wei-ge and Nie-gongzi discuss things that I don't' bother to listen to, knowing that it's nothing too important for now.

***********

Soon, we arrive at the foot of Dafan Mountain, which is even more scarier-feeling in real life.

"Hello, ma'am. Sorry to disturb you, but do you know any place we can stay for the night?" Wei-ge asks an elderly woman.

Wei-ge calls her again. "Ma'am?"

The elderly lady hardly acknowledges him, continuing to mutter inaudible words under her breath.

Are we ghosts to her?!

As soon as I think that, the woman gets up to lead us towards "shelter"...

*********

The lady brings us to a cave... in a mountain... a cave in a mountain for shelter......... I—........I feel like a mountain troll........eh, better than nothing..

"Thank you, ma'am!" Wei-ge smiles, bowing to express his gratitude as the elderly woman gives us some hay.

Sighing, I pick up a pile of the hay and carry it to a sheltered corner behind a rock. Moving the hay to a more bed-like shape, I flop onto the "bed". And now... I... feel like a horse. I mean, at least we have somewhere to stay! Xiquan and Lan Zhe soon join, placing their "beds" close to mine.

"I feel like a horse..." I mumble.

Xiquan giggles. "Ha! Me too," she agrees.

"Better than nothing," Lan Zhe points out.

She had a point. "Fair," Xiquan and I agree.

"AGHHH! Knowing what will happen, I can't even sleep peacefully...." I whine.

"I KNOW!!!! AND WORSE, MY FEET HURT!" Xiquan groans.

Lan Zhe sits herself up slightly, glaring at us. "We're even less likely to sleep with your complaining! Please be quiet!"

"YeS, mAdAm LaN," Xiquan acknowledges sarcastically.

Lan Zhe stares at us. "Hey- I..."

"Lol. 'Madam Lan'," I repeat, my ribs cracking as I try not to laugh.

"Pfft-" Xiquan, unable to hold it in, let out a burst of laughter.

"STOP TALKING, YOU THREE! AND PLEASE, GET SOME F*CKING SLEEP!" Wei-ge roars from across the cave.

The three of us roll our eyes as we jokingly answer, "YeS, wEi-XiAnShEnG."

Hanguang-Jun glares at us from his position.

"Aha, um... We're going to sleep now!!" I immediately announce as Hanguang-Jun shows no sign of turning away.

"Finally," Wei-ge grins, satisfied.

"You shut up, too!" Xiquan barks at him.

"Sleep!" Hanguang-Jun commands, his tone colder than the temperature inside a frozen abyss.
