As the Yunmeng Jiang Sect's disciples leave, I sigh and follow. We head out, bidding farewell to the members of the Gusu Lan Sect. As Jiang-ge pulls Wei-ge away, I tell them to wait before I go look for where Lan Zhe is. When I find her, I see Hanguang-Jun leaving with her. Oh.........Dammit.
"Hanguang-Jun! Lan Zhe!" I call as I run up to them.
Hanguang-Jun turns around, looking at me questioningly. "Wei-er-guniang..."
"Please... Wait..." I manage to gasp out between my uneven, panting breaths.
"Did you need something from me?" he asks. Though he speaks politely, it's clear that he's impatient to go.
"I- Excuse me, please give me a sec," I say, catching my breath. "Please wait for my brother to accompany you on your hunt for the Yin Iron! And if possible, A-Jie and I, too."
"How do you know we're going to look for the Yin Iron?" Hanguang-Jun asks with a hint of wariness and threatening in his voice.
"I..." My mouth opens and closes as I think of an appropriate answer.
Hanguang-Jun repeats himself. "How do you know that A-Zhe and I are going to search for the Yin Iron?"
"Relax, Wangji," Lan Zhe says, glancing at me with a worried light. "I'm sure that Wei-er-guniang means no harm."
Shit. How- No, what do I tell him? Would it be THAT weird if I just say, "Uhm, yeah! Haha, funny you asked, because I actually come from another universe! I died in that universe then somehow ended up here as the beginning of my second life. Uhm, before dying, I watched a show called The Untamed, otherwise known as Mo Dao Zu Shi and, uh, after watching it many times, I know what's gonna happen! And yea it's basically about your life and the lives of other people here in this world (other than me, Lan Zhe, and Xiquan)."
"Um... I-I'm sorry, but I cannot tell you. If I do, I... Don't know what will happen. But I swear on my life that I mean no harm and that my siblings and I only want to help!" I say earnestly... That's not really dishonesty, right?
Hanguang-Jun pauses, thinking over what I said and considering whether to bring me along. "Mn. I'll believe you for now. Since you're already here and you know about the Yin Iron, get Wei-guniang and Wei Ying quickly."
"Right!" I say hurriedly, running back to find my siblings.

"WEI XIQUAN! WEI WUXIAN! GET YOUR ASSES TO THE GATE RIGHT NOW!!!!" I shout at them when I return to the small clearing where Shijie, Xiquan, Wei-ge, and Jiang-ge played with the bunnies.
"Why?" Jiang-ge asks.
"Hanguang-Jun and Lan Zhe are going to look for the Yin Iron! Wanna come with me?"
"I'm going back to Lotus Pier with A-Jie," Jiang-ge declares.
Wei Xiquan and Wei Wuxian, however, don't hesitate to say yes. Especially Wei Wuxian.

We find Hanguang-Jun waiting for us at the gate, his fingers tapping on the hilt of his sword impatiently.
"We got here just in time," I say as I exhale a sigh of relief.
"I know, right?" Wei Xiquan adds.
We start on our journey through a forest. The relaxed-paced walk felt nice after the frantic rush to get to the gate, though the silence that surrounds us makes me wish I had music more than ever. Unfortunately, phones and AirPods (or headphones, for that matter) do not exist in this world... Whyyyyyyyyyy???!!!!!!
