"Good spar sis." Kavel said, holding his helmet in one hand as he sheathed his foil.

Nisha sat on a bench looking down, her mind couldn't stop swirling with thoughts.

"Sis?" Kavel interrupted her from the thoughts.

"Yes, sorry." She said with a sigh looking up at her little brother.

"You're having doubts, aren't you?" Kavel said taking a seat next to her. Nisha stayed silent. "You know I'm here to talk to, right?" Nisha nodded her head. "And I'm also here to just be a comfort, whether you want to talk or not." He said as he slung an arm around her shoulder.

"Thank you, Kavel. That means a lot to me." Nisha said with a nod. She paused before speaking again, "Actually there is something I'd like to talk to you about."

"I'm listening." Kavel said looking at her thoughtfully.

"It's only been a little over a month since The Society began but I can't shake this feeling that..." Nisha paused, unsure is she should really say what she felt. "That maybe we- I made the wrong choice."

Kavel sat in silence for a moment thinking on what she said. "Nisha, The Society is helping us, it's helping everyone. Of course you made the right choice."

Nisha stared at her brother, almost disappointed that he didn't confirm her doubts. "I know, it's just, our parents left this legacy in my hands. I just don't want to mess it up and make them disappointed."

"Stop worrying about what they would have wanted." Kavel said a little sternly, "You do what is right and helpful for the business."

Nisha stared at him before getting up. "We should get ready for dinner." She said.

Nisha stared at herself in the mirror. Is this really what she wanted? Her family's legacy was left in her hands. Would they be proud of her?

Like Kavel said, none of that mattered now. She had devoted her life to what she thought was the right cause. But did she only do it for the power? For the business?

She shook her head, shaking away any doubts, Kavel would be disappointed if he knew how many doubts she had and after only a month and a half.

So far The Society had managed to take control over every important spot on the island, destroying anyone who opposed and gaining more allies. Montague was getting more restless though and it seemed Nisha was the only one who saw it. He was making mistakes, losing valuable resources, and then blaming it on other members. It seemed he especially had something against Oscar.

Then Nisha's mind wandered to Val, it always did. She was worried for her friend. She still had gotten no word from her and Nisha's mind could only imagine what might be happening in her life. Val was smart, very smart, but she was book smart, not necessarily street smart. She wasn't a very social person as she was always using her research as an excuse to get out of any social gatherings. This made her a little gullible as she believed everyone had good intentions and adored her, but that's not how the world works. That secret innocence about Val is something that Nisha loved about her, but it could be easily taken advantage of. That's the last thing Nisha wanted to happen.

Nisha took a deep breath in before heading to the basement. She walked past several photos of her family, feeling judged by every member, well, she didn't care anymore. The Society was her destiny. She had made up her mind and if she was going to be a part of The Society they needed to get their act together. She arrived at the dining room where Kavel was waiting for her.

"Kavel," she said as she took a seat, "It's time we find a new leader." Kavel immediately perked up and listened. "I'm growing tired of Montague's reckless, child like behavior."

"What do you suggest? That you become leader?" Kavel asked, his eyebrow raised.

"I have someone else in mind... but I need your help to make it happen." Nisha said, she took a cup of tea from the table and sipped it.

"At your service, sister." Kavel said with a bow and smirk.

"Good, we work from the shadows, we expose, then we make this Society reach its true potential." Nisha said.
