Nisha sat at the dinner table, sipping on a cup of tea as she stared at her phone lying on the table. It started buzzing and she picked it up immediately, answering the call.
"I have been expecting you to call." Nisha said to the caller.
"I gave you the information and you promised you would help us, how is this helping?!" An angry voice yelled over the phone, gunshots could be heard in the background.
"They are distracted, the exact thing you need. Besides, I gave you everything you needed to stop them." Nisha replied calmly before taking another sip of her tea.
"Come here and help us, you coward!" The voice yelled back before Nisha hung up and sighed.
"Nisha?" Kavel said from behind Nisha, staring at her in confusion.
"Kavel, you shouldn't be here." Nisha said without looking back at him and instead staring down at her cup of tea, slightly annoyed.
"No," He said, walking to her side and staring down at her, "You shouldn't be here. There's a literal war at Pleasant Piazza, a war you were supposed to be helping."
"I am helping." Nisha said, glaring up at Kavel.
"No, you're not, you are hiding in the house, only thinking of yourself." Kavel said, getting angrier as his sister showed no emotion.
"For once, Kavel," Nisha started as she stood up, standing up straight and staring at her brother sternly, "I am not thinking of myself. I'm not doing what benefits the family or the legacy. I am doing what benefits everyone!"
Kavel was about to say something when an explosion shook the house, causing Nisha and Kavel to stumble a bit.
"I told you, you should have left." Nisha said with a sigh.
Kavel started rushing towards where the explosion was, "We are under attack!"
"Kavel, no!" Nisha yelled out after him, trying to catch up with him.
When Nisha finally did catch up with him he was staring at a fire, burning up a shed just outside the main building.
Kavel looked back at Nisha and turned around, walking by her bumping his shoulder into hers knocking her back slightly. "What have you done?" He said lightly, a tone of anger in his voice as he glared at Nisha.
"I did what was right." Nisha said staring at her brother, gripping the end of her sword in her sheath.
"So what? You're helping the Underground scum now?!" Kavel said, fully turning to face Nisha. He couldn't hold back his anger as well as his older sister could.
"Kavel, I never wanted the power. I just did what I thought was right... right for the legacy." Nisha said, disappointed in herself. "I had hoped you would understand, but it seems it was just wishful thinking."
Kavel was silent for a moment before speaking up, "Where are they?"
Nisha glared up at him, "I do not know who you are asking about."
"The intruder!" Kavel shouted, a fist forming in one hand, Nisha immediately noticing this and taking a step back. "I'm not stupid, sister, I know this is just a distraction."
Nisha just stared at Kavel, slightly nervous as to what her brother might do if she didn't answer.
"The prisoner." He said, finally figuring it out. He took off running, back towards the main building.
Nisha breathed out and walked over to a shed where she grabbed an AR and some bags. This went as well as she predicted. She tossed her bags and gun into a car and drove off. She was hated by everyone now but at least she helped as best she thought she could. Now it was just her, and she had to think of herself.
