Valeria sat in her study, flipping through pages and glancing at maps. She was growing increasingly frustrated at every passing minute.

A commander walked into the room cautiously, "Ma'am we had no luck. We searched exactly where you said, but there was nothi-" He began.

"WORTHLESS!!!" Valeria yelled as flames burst from her body. She ran her hand through her hair and sighed as her flames went down.

"Should we search again?" The commander asked.

"Leave." She said sternly as she glared at the commander. He immediately left the study, leaving Valeria in silence.

"Why do you run from me?" Val whispered looking over her maps again. "We could have shared this power."

"Knock knock." A voice rang from the entrance to the study.

"Ah finally, someone who is actually helpful." Val said smiling at Montague who was standing in her doorway. He visited her often to check up on her plans and operations, which Val was sure he did with every member.

"I heard the yelling, is everything okay?" He walked in and leaned against the wall.

"I can't find..." Val paused looking down, "it's hopeless." Her face was a mix of sadness and anger.

Montague stepped close to her lifted her head up to face him. "Hey everything will be alright, besides you have me, you don't need anyone else." Montague smirked. Blush filled Val's face as Montague kissed her, Val accepting it and kissing back.

They pulled out of the kiss and Montague let go of Val. "You always know how to make me feel better." She said with a smile.

"I know." Montague said, walking towards the doorway. He paused in the doorway and looked back at her, "Oh, and stop wasting resources on this silly goose chase. If I find out you did something stupid like that again... Just remember you're replaceable."

"O-of course." Valeria said, her voice shaking a little.

Montague smirked and walked out of the study, "I've got her wrapped around my finger."

Valeria sat at her study thinking. Her thoughts circled to what Montague had said earlier, did he actually care about her, or was she really just replaceable? Should she just give up and burn it all? That would make Montague happy. Against Montague's words she still studied everything, confident she had it right this time, but if she sent troops to go looking Montague would find out... she didn't want to make him angry. She would have to go herself. But what if she was wrong again and something bad happened to her?

She glanced at the clock and saw that it was after 2am. Of course she couldn't sleep when so much was on her mind. There had been regular attacks on the train when it was hauling valuable resources, many times the resources being stolen and they were suffering guard losses along with the weapons. Instead of focusing on reinforcing the train she focused on useless chases, no wonder Montague was upset with her. She sighed, how was she going to make it up to him?

All her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a gunshot. She stood up immediately and looked out the window of her study tower to see one of her guards laying dead on the floor outside. She turned around quickly to get her gun when she was met with a gun in her face.

Her eyes narrowed on the person holding the gun, a pair of sunglasses glinted in the red light, blocking his eyes. "Well, are you going to kill me then?"

"This is a warning," Jonesy said, "we work in the shadows and we will stop The Society."

"The Society cannot be stopped, you're a fool for even thinking you can hinder us." Valeria said with a smirk.

"I could kill you right now, is that not enough evidence of how much of a threat we are?" Jonesy said sternly.

"I am but a pawn in this plan... easily replaceable." Valeria said, a frown on her face as she remembered what Montague had told her earlier.

"You hold so much more power than you know, yet you let yourself be used, sad." Jonesy said, stepping backwards toward a window. He got in the open windowsill, "Oh, and one last thing, your sister says hi. She's the only reason you're still alive." Jonesy said as he gave a single wave and fell out the window.

Valeria immediately rushed to grab her gun and then headed to the window to look for Jonesy. He was nowhere to be seen.

Valeria leaned against her wall and slid down it, sitting on the floor. "Why sister, why did you choose the wrong side. We could've been powerful, together, but now..." she paused, anger filling her face, "I must destroy you."

Valeria stood up and looked at her desk, a note lying on it. She picked it up and read it, 'The Underground is rising. The Society will crumble.' She gripped the note in her hand, her green flames burning bright. She angrily swiped all her papers and work on her desk, burning it to ashes as she did.

"Ma'am I don't advise you go out after what just happened!" A guard shouted as Valeria stormed outside towards her car. She was wearing a white fur coat, sporting blonde hair with a green fade now. She simply raised her middle finger to the guard and got into her car, speeding off towards the north.
