"We had her and you let her go!" Oscar yelled at Valeria.
"Oh well this wouldn't have even happened if you hadn't barged in so rudely and distracted me!" Montague yelled at Oscar.
"I was the one who told him who she truly was and to warn you." Nisha said calmly. "I wasn't sure if you knew."
"Of course I knew! I'm not an idiot!" Montague yelled at Nisha.
Valeria stood off to the side, looking over the empty lobby. The party had quickly come to an end after Hope ran away and now the hotel lobby was being used for these dysfunctional adults to yell and point fingers.
"Shut up!" Valeria finally said turning to look at them, their mouths all snapping shut. "We have what we need and besides, I know my sister, she would've escaped on her own no matter how hard we would try to restrain her."
Oscar sighed, "You're probably right, if she's anywhere as relentless as you it would have only been a matter of time."
"Trust me, if you thought I was bad, she's one-hundred times worse." Valeria assured.
"I have a feeling that now that we have something of theirs, their attacks will be more and stronger. We need to prepare for the worst." Valeria said in a grave tone.
"You're not suggesting war?" Oscar asked, looking at Valeria with concern.
"We don't know what they will do next. But what we do know is that they have plenty of our weapons and maybe more allies than we believe them to have." Valeria said sternly, looking at Oscar.
"You think we underestimate them?" Nisha asked, "I believe so too. Who knows what they've been able to do in the quiet. We need to focus on protecting our main points and if that means sacrificing some smaller-"
"No. We can't loose an inch of ground to them or they'll get cocky." Montague interrupted Nisha.
"Exactly, and then they'll head for big targets and be sorely mistaken when they loose since we'll be prepared." Oscar said, catching on.
"Precisely. We'll take down each and every one of them and they won't know what hit them." Valeria said with a smirk.
"And if they are prepared?" Oscar asked, still doubtful.
"We'll handle it." Valeria said confidently.
"You act as though we have guaranteed victory, but if The Underground really is more powerful as you suggest, how are we to know what to prepare for?" Oscar said glaring at Val.
"We don't know." Valeria said bluntly. "But this is our best plan to prepare for anything."
The group stood in silence for a moment, contemplating what route to take, but their silence was broken by the sound of slurping. Everyone turned their heads to Montague who was sipping a glass of punch.
He stopped when he saw everyone looking at him, "What? The punch is really good and I don't want it to go to waste." He defended himself even though no one had said anything.
"Well I'm glad you like it so much." Nisha said with a laugh.
A laugh is exactly what they needed right now. The world may crumble soon so they may as well enjoy it while it lasts.
Oscar sighed, "Then it's settled." He said looking at Val. "We stick to the plan and hope for the best. Never let your guards down."
Everyone nodded their heads.

The members all had decided that tonight would be their last night to have some fun. They drank and talked. So much had happened in four months, and so much had changed. Some changes for better and some for worse.
