[ Mumbai , India ]

Finally after waiting for an hour Sahil burst through the door with his usual sunny demeanor shining through the gloom of my mood .

" Hi grumpy little kid !! " Sahil greeted me with a bright smile, completely unaffected by the glares I gave him .

" Shut up ! And let's come to the point , I've another meeting to attend " , I grunted in response

" Abey o ! are you here to have some sort of business deal with your rival !!! ' come to the point ! ' " he responded and mimicked the last part. Well I don't talk like that or i do ? Whatever i don't care !

" Then Sir What do you expect me to say after you kept me waiting for an entire hour!!! Should I kick your ass first ! "

" Hey ! No violence allowed ! ...and I was busy with someone else "

I raised an eyebrow at him and asked " someone else ? And who's that ? "

" Someone !! ... I'll tell you that later , now let's start the meeting !! Aren't we getting late now ? " He said which seemed skeptical but I shrugged it off and focused on the meeting .

By the end of our meeting, I found myself nodding along to his ideas and even cracking a laughs at his jokes.

As I was at the end of another meeting with a client at a restaurant,
I couldn't help but notice a familiar face across the room.

Amidst the bustling crowd, I spotted Amaya and noticed something peculiar too -- she seemed to be trying to hide from someone , ducking her head down and whispering frantically to her friends sitting at a table across the room.

I looked at my watch and furrowed my eyebrows thinking that , What is she doing here during the college hours? Before I could ponder further, she abruptly stood up and hurried toward the restroom while hiding her face with her bag. Fishy !

Amaya's pov

As we settled into our seats, Sophie ,my friend nudged me discreetly, gesturing towards a nearby table. grin playing on her lips. "Look who's here," he whispered, he eyes twinkling with amusement.

So I turned my gaze towards that direction and-- WHAT THE GOLDFISH !!

Mahir Awasthi aka my mama's friend cum the real life greek god cum my 4 years long crush sitting right across the room in the same restaurant where I came today after bunking my college for the first time!

For the first time in my life...hehe.. no not for time in my life but in my college life I have thought to do something a little adventurous by bunking my classes .

Above that I told my mother that I've an extra class today which I actually have but....
