CHAPTER 27

"Hey, why did you suddenly disappear?" Napalingon naman ako sa dereksiyon ni Mikhael when I heard his voice.

"Oh, gusto ko lang magpahangin." I just simply replied atsaka ibinalik ang tingin sa harapan kung saan natatanaw ko ang ganda ng buong imperial main garden.

Naramdaman ko naman siyang lumapit at tumabi sa kinatatayuan ko. Kasalukuyan kasi akong nandito sa balcony ng banquet hall. Just after Walter finished his speech ay nag excuse ako. I don't know why this guy suddenly followed me.

"Is there any problem?" biglang tanong niya ulit.

Is it obvious na may problema ako? Why did he suddenly asked me that...

Simpleng umiling naman ako, "Nah. I just don't really like being in a crowded place." I uttered, though, it isn't really a lie, just a half-lie I guess.

"Hmm..." kita ko naman sa peripheral vision ko ang pag-tango niya.

"How about you, why did you followed me here?" tanong ko naman sa kaniya. Kesa naman siya 'yung magtanong ulit.

"Wala lang, though it is just that I want to take a break, nakakapagod rin kasing makipag-socialize."

Natawa nalang naman ako ng mahina dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I didn't know you are close to the Crown Prince of Assylria, as well as to lady Charlize." he suddenly uttered. Suddenly opening a topic.

"Well, I heard you're classmates, so I guess hindi na katakataka 'yun." he added.

Tumango naman ako, "Yeah, I think just a bit, they are just too friendly." sabi ko naman sa kaniya.

Bigla naman siyang tumawa, "Who? Them?" Napatingin naman ako sa kaniya wondering why he made such reaction.

"Hindi mo ba napansin kanina? Lady Charlize only speaks informally to you as well as the crown prince Arlzen." aniya.

Well, they're been like that since the first day we've met. Though, it is kinda annoying dahil some people might misunderstand wherein friends lang naman kaming tatlo, I mean apat since Jackson's also there with us. Well, I guess it is weird since iba iba ang status namin. And that's what I always said to them, pero hindi naman talaga sila nakikinig.

"It isn't actually my first time meeting the prince of Assylria. It just surprised me of how he treated you as a friend." Mikhael said again.

"I know he is quite friendlier than our own Crown Prince. Since you know, Crown Prince Walter is really a cold person, while Prince Arlzen is kind and warm to whomever he met." sabi niya naman, tumango-tango naman ako dahil agreed ako sa sinabi niya.

"How about the other prince and princess of the neighboring kingdoms?" I suddenly asked, pinag uusapan na naman namin ang mga importanteng tao sa mundo, bakit hindi pa lubos-lubosin.
