Suddenly, Jill sat up from her bed, feeling confused and disoriented. She looked around for what seemed like ages, trying to recognize her surroundings. James walked into the room, his expression instantly lighting up with joy and elation. Both of them couldn't contain their emotions, and they simply rushed into an embrace, filled with relief and sheer happiness to see each other alive and well.

"Thank God you're okay, Jill," James said.

"Yeah, it was definitely a close one," Jill said, filled with relief.

James broke from the embrace. "I've got good news. The whole city is safe! We did it!"

Jill was overcome with joy, and without thinking, she leaned in and gave James a passionate kiss. He returned her affection, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close.

A few seconds later, blood shot out of James's mouth, and he fell to his knees.

"James! Are you okay?!" Jill said as she kneeled beside him.

James suddenly perked his head up, and Jill was shocked to see that his face looked completely zombified and grotesque. Jill fell back in horror at James's demonic appearance, and she quickly scrambled to grab a gun. She pointed it directly at James, fear and dread taking over her body. James slowly crawled towards her like a mindless creature, his twisted facial contortions becoming more and more demonic and horrific with each inch he moved.

"Shoot me, Jill," James whispered, his voice filled with pain and a sense of utter despair.

Jill sat there for a few seconds, gun pointed right at James's head, debating whether to shoot or not. But she couldn't bring herself to do it, and she eventually lowered her gun. "I can't!"

James let out a horrifying screech of agony and madness, as if he was in unimaginable pain. He then suddenly dived towards Jill, landing on top of her.

Jill let out a terrifying scream as she sat up, only to find herself right back on the bed, and James nowhere in sight. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she quickly stumbled her way out of the room, looking frantically everywhere she could, but there was no sign of James. She saw Tyrell sitting at a computer.

"Morning sunshine," Tyrell said with a smile.

"You saved me?" Jill asked, confused.

"I sure as shit didn't. That was all James. He carried you all the way here and treated you himself."

"Where is he?"

"He and Carlos went underground. Turns out Bard was stockpiling the vaccine. Enough to give the city some hope."

Jill paused for a few minutes before having a determined look on her face. "We need to help them."

"They are gonna blow this city sky high. I'm trying to get ahold of anybody with the clearance to stop it. James will be okay, he's with Carlos. He's a professional."

"So am I," Jill said with a smirk before walking out the door.

"....Right," Tyrell said in defeat.

Jill ventured her way underground to a big lab that was just beneath the hospital. "How has nobody noticed this down here?" She thought to herself. She found a nearby fuse and put it into a fusebox, giving her access to an elevator. She came across a computer and was looking at files when she heard someone coming up the elevator behind her. She turned around with her gun drawn only to see Tyrell.

"I got through! They are willing to negotiate," he said.

"What are the terms?" Jill asked.

"They'll call off the strike if, and this is one big-ass 'if,' we can deliver the vaccine to them... Before they launch."

"Okay, how long do we have?" Jill questioned.

"Hours, maybe."

"Then let's not waste one more second. Come on!" Jill said as she walked further into the lab.

"I'm with you," Tyrell said as he followed her.

As they entered the next room, Tyrell was brutally thrown against the wall with immense force by Nemesis. Jill tried to help Tyrell up, but Nemesis quickly unleashed a lethal attack, impaling him through the chest with a tentacle and instantly killing him.

"NO!" Jill screamed.

Nemesis lunged at Jill in a flash, but she was quick enough to dodge out of the way. She quickly ran to a nearby door and hit a button on the wall. A heavy metal door instantly dropped, creating a barrier that trapped Nemesis on the other side. Jill was now safe for the moment, but she didn't dare to lower her guard or take a break, feeling that Nemesis would be back soon, and she'd have to be ready for the next attack.

However, as she turned around, she saw Nikolai standing there holding the vaccine.

"Give me the vaccine, you greedy son of a bitch!" Jill demanded as she raised her gun at him.

Nikolai raised a gun back. "No, no, no. You print money. I like money. We shall make this an ongoing arrangement. Now drop the gun!"

Before Jill could even respond, Nemesis suddenly burst through the wall, breaking it apart as if it were nothing more than thin glass. Jill and Nemesis fell down the pit and crashed onto the ground below, with Jill taking the brunt of the impact. She hit the ground hard and painfully, the breath knocked out of her as she lay there stunned and motionless. Nemesis slowly and steadily got up, his focus completely set on Jill. This time he was way bigger and uglier than he had ever been.

"Good luck!" Nikolai said with an evil smirk as he ran away.

"BASTARD!" Jill shouted in frustration.

"Jill!" Another voice called out. She looked up and saw James standing on a platform above her.

"James!"

"Are you okay?" James asked.

"I'm fine. Go after Nikolai! He has the vaccine!"

James took a look at the giant nemesis and was worried for Jill's safety. "What about you?"

"We're running out of time! I got this!" Jill said confidently.

James nodded his head. "I know you do," he whispered, his voice filled with admiration.

"Come on!" Carlos said as he took off after Nikolai. James soon followed.

Jill looked up at the gigantic nemesis, showing absolutely no fear. "Just so you know, this is the last fucking time!"
