ELEVEN

THIRD PERSON'S POV

All the werewolves stood confused and waiting for an order. Ace stepped towards Jenna's killer.
"He will not be touched", Ace said.
"But..but..", one of the wolves tried to argue but he was cut off.
"Are you challenging me?", Ace asked I'm a daring manner. The guy didn't reply.
"You know I can kill you all, right?"
"We know what you're capable of", another guy replied. Ace nodded.
"Good. As I previously said, he will not be touched."
"That's right", a female voice said and Jenna's killer was hauled backwards. He was slammed into the wall and held in place there.
Jenna stood up, sighed and everyone gasped. She picked up her sword and began to walk over to her killer who by the way was terrified.
"I remember you. Julio, right? Do you think I'm a fool? When I cast the protection spell, I also made it to apply to me and since I'm the caster, I'm linked to all of you or I was. I could feel all your emotions."
"At first I sensed fear, but when the training was over I sensed happiness and relief. However I noticed a negative emotion from one person so I braced myself. And now that I'm back, the protection spell has been nullified. So tell me Julio, what am I gonna do with you?", Jenna said, now directly in front of him.
"Please..please don't kill me", Julio pleaded.
"Someone said he saw his late family members. Surely you must have a loved one that is dead. Wouldn't I be doing you a favor by sending you to them?"
"Please no. Don't do this. I'm sorry"
Jenna gently stroked his cheek. Her face twisted to one of pity.
"Shh. It's okay. I forgive you. You're free".
He was released from the spell holding him to the wall. His eyes widened. She stepped away from him and gestured for him to move. When he took two steps forward, Jenna drove the sword through his back to his heart. He gasped and fell as his body turned grey.
Jenna looked at the other wolves. They looked at her with fear and awe.
"So let's celebrate"

At the large meeting room everyone seemed happy. Food, booze, loud music. Jenna was dancing.
Aiden and Ace just stood at a corner watching her.
"I think I should lock her up"
Ace shook his head.
"You shouldn't"
"Don't you see? There'll always be people who aren't comfortable with her presence in this pack. If they try to cross her, she'll kill them. It's only a matter of time before she comes for our heads..or our hearts"
"Nom I understand her now. She doesn't attack unless she's attacked. And your warriors seem to like her"
Aiden didn't say anything.
Suddenly there was a rush of wind and someone vamped into the room. He vamp-lifted on of the wolves and threw him to the wall. That got everyone's attention. The music went off. That person was Julio. But he looked different. He had blood-red eyes and blood was on his lips. Aiden and Ace stepped forward.
"Julio?", Aiden said.
Tears began to flow from Julio's eyes. Jenna looked at him and groaned.
"Why is that everyone is trying to cheat death? You're a vampire. Care to explain how?", she said.
Julio looked at her with rage.
"How should I know? If I knew I would've been out of the pack. I didn't take any vampire's blood. It's not like there's any vampires in this area"
"So how are you a vampire?", Aiden asked impatiently. "I mean, you're definitely not a hybrid"
Julio pointed at Jenna.
"Her. When I bit her, her blood must have gone down my throat before she killed me. She's a vampire and she's been hiding it all this time. She must be killed"
All eyes turned to Jenna and she huffed.
"Surely you can't believe what he's saying. We all know that I never knew vampires existed till I came here. And now that I've seen one..". She looked at Julio. " I think he's gonna turn me"
Julio's eyes turned red again and he opened his mouth exposing his fangs.
"No, I'm not gonna turn you. I'm gonna kill you"
He vamped to Jenna but Aiden caught him by his arms and flung him backwards. He vamped to his feet.
"Alpha Aiden, I'm doing you a huge favor. I just need to tear out her heart. That's all. But if you don't let.."
"What are you gonna do?"
Julio smirked. He vamped to Aiden and shoved him. Aiden was thrown backwards. His back slammed into the rail of the staircase and he lost consciousness. Jenna heaved a sigh of frustration and balled her fist.
Julio screamed and held both sides of his head. He fell to his knees.
"You know, I don't particularly like it when people harm what I've grown to care about. I thought I killed one of your guys because of that?"
Julio was groaning.
"What was his name again. Kai, right?"
He looked at Ace.
"I'm doing you a favour. Thank me later"
Jenna walked to stand in front of him.
"Oh they won't be able to Julio, cuz you'll be dead."
Julio vamped to his feet and pulled Jenna to him. He hissed and sank his fangs into her neck. He drained her violently as she screamed and he threw her. Her body landed on the counter close to the wine shelf, unconscious.
Julio wiped the blood from his lips with his finger and licked it. He looked at Ace.
"Don't try to attack me Ace. You may be a witch but I can snap your neck with my bare hands in a fatal manner  in a second"
"And I can rip your vampiric heart out of your chest without having to touch you", Ace said.
"When your brother wakes, he'll know I did you both a favor. I'll be leaving the pack tonight. I'm no longer a wolf. Too bad I didn't find my mate before this happened. I would've turned her and taken her with me. So Ace, till we meet again".
And he vamped away.
