Chapter 8

Tris POV

I wake to find Four not near me. I sit up and search the room for him. He walks out of my shower wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. He looks hot

"Morning babe" he says with a smirk on his face. He comes over and kisses me

"Morning" I say pulling away

"It's 11:24 am" he says "what do you want to do?!"

"I think we should form an allegiance" I say "my friends and your friends need to know and I think we should surprise them"

"How?" he asks

I smirk "you invite Zeke and Uriah to the mall and I will invite my friends" I say

"Ok" he smirks and grabs his phone

I grab mine and start a group convo

Tris : hey guys! meet me at the mall. I have a surprise and important news 😄

Chris : yeah sure sounds fun 😊

Will : ok why not

Lyne : sure ☺️

Al : I have a feeling you didn't mean to invite me

Al is an old mate of mine. We were really good friends when we are little. Then he asked me out and I said no. We hadn't been quite as close ever since

Al : I am busy anyway

Tris : oh ok

Marlene : ok x 😃

Shaunna : love to ❤️❤️❤️

Joe : ok

Tris : great I will see you guys in an hour at the mall. Xxxxx

"They are all gonna meet me in an hour at the mall" I say

"Same with Zeke and Uriah" he says

"Ok let's get ready" I say

We get ready, eat and then jump into his car

When we arrive we split up and agree to meet in the main centre in 5 minutes

It doesn't take long for my friends to arrive. Soon they are begging for the news

I start to head over to the main centre. I see Four my heart does a summersault.

"Tris" Chris says "watch out. Four."

We walk straight over to them. When I reach Four he puts his arm around me. Everyone gapes at us in confusion

"What?!" Chris says "when?! How?! Where?! and Why?!"

"Yesterday" I say "after the party"

"We realised we don't hate each other" Four continues "it was all a cover for our true feelings"

Christina is silent for a moment. Then she screams

"This is amazing!!!!" she squeals

"I know!" I say

Then Four leans in for a kiss and I except and lean back in

"No PDA NO PDA!" Uriah cries

We pull away reluctantly

Suddenly all my friends crowd around Four

"Four" Chris says "if you hurt our Tris we will hurt you!"

They step back. Then to my surprise, Uriah and Zeke walk up to us

"Four" Zeke says "never hurt Tris. Tris if you hurt Four in anyway. Consider yourself dead"

We both laugh.

All of us head around the mall, weaving in and out shops. Eventually we all agreed to meet up on Friday and go the Zeke and Uriah's house. We are planning to play Candor or Dauntless. In other words Truth or Dare. Then have a sleepover there

At about 4 pm, everyone begins to leave. Only me and Four are left.

"I love you Tris" he says

"I never thought I'd say this but I love you too" I say back

I drop you home if you want. Let me just get my jacket. He turns around and that's when it happens

I don't know who it is or what they are doing but I can't make a sound. I see Tobias walk further away to his jacket and I still can't make a sound

I look to see who has me. Al?! Why?! oh no. He saw the messages and knew where I was. But it's not just him. Peter and Drew are next to him. They are the bullies of the school. I hate them

Before I have a chance to try and run they are dragging me towards the balcony.

Suddenly I am lifted over the edge. I will survive. I have to.

"Are you sure you're sixteen, Stiff" he says probably because i am very tense right now. He starts to grope my chest. "It doesn't feel like you're more then twelve"

They all laugh. I scream as he squeezes my chest

"I think I found something" he chants in a sing-song voice

They all laugh again. Al let's go of me and I scream aaa loudly as Incan but no one hears me. It's too busy.

"Get off me" I cry. I kick Peters stomach. He flinches but not much more.

I feel a strong blow to the the side as someone kicks me. I am thrown to the ground. Not off the balcony but to their level. My head is slammed into something hard and my vision goes blurry. I scream again

Someone runs up and Peter and Al scram

Then everything goes dark

Four POV

I turn round and Tris is gone. I start to panic. I don't know why. She's probably hiding somewhere

"Ha ha Tris" I say "very funny! come out now. Let's go home"

She doesn't come out. I start to panic even more.

I hear a scream. Tris

"Shit" I say in distress

I run as fast as my feet will carry me. I hope it's fast enough

I arrive to see Tris on the floor passed out

I run up to them. Peter. Drew. Al. Wait, Al?! Why?! Peter and Al scram but I catch Drew. I repeatedly punch him. In the face. Stomach. Then I kick him in the side

I see Tris laying in a pool of her own blood. I have to get her to the hospital fast. I scoop her up and run.....
