The bowl of cornflakes in Katie’s hands slipped and crashed to the ground, shattering into a dozen pieces.
She stared in frozen shock at the news being casted on the TV.
“... Several unexplainable disappearances are being recorded all over the world. Christians claim it is an event that has been predicted in their Holy Book, the Bible. An event called ‘The Rapture’..."
She barely heard the scream that rang loudly from inside the house. She collapsed to the ground, ignoring the pain from the shards of ceramic that pierced into her delicate skin.
Her father was gone. She just knew it. And that shrill scream had been her mother.
No. It wasn't possible.
It can't have happened yet.
I thought I had more time!
Panicked running footsteps echoed through the house as her mother made her way outside.
She screamed again on sighting Katie sitting on the floor of the living room, stunned out of her mind.
The reality was yet to sink into her young mind. The stories had been true after all, and if she remembered correctly, what came next was…She was doomed!!!
Katie thought she was going mad as she remained immobile, eyes glued to the big screen TV. She couldn't cry, couldn't do anything at all.
And she had been warned! Oh, how she wished she had listened! But that was all it was, a wish. This… this was reality, and it was about to throw it's greatest hit yet.
It was then the truth hit her hard, her mother sobbing hysterically in the background.
“Jesus…”she whispered from the chaos of her mind. She was definitely going mad. "Have mercy…"
But even she knew, there was no mercy anymore. She was on her own.

It is very real, and it is coming soon
It would be a huge shame and waste if after practicing so much spiritually, one still misses it at the end.
God is the only one who can keep us running.
The devil is striving harder than ever to recruit more people to his kingdom, knowing he has so little time left.
Immorality is being legalized in various countries right now.
Things that were originally repulsive have now become the norm.
May God in His infinite mercy see us all through till the end in Jesus name🙏🙏
