"You guys!" I locked my phone and put it on the table with the screen facing the wood. My heart felt a little heavy, but in a good way and I was blushing. My friends looked at me eager to hear what just happened between my phone and me. "I just got a text that my nineteen year-old self prayed for so long." "No way!" Andrea knew me too well, she knows who was my crush when I was nineteen. I even called him the love of my life. I nodded and she squealed leaving Taylor wanting to know more. "Jensen just texted me..." I couldn't hold my laugh and squeals. "To ask me on a date!" The three of us screamed like little girls getting their favourite toy or dress with matching shoes. Jensen has always been the cool, hot guy; that every girl dreams to date. He is nice, funny, smart, literally what every girl wants. "What did he say?" Taylor wanted to snatch my phone out of my reach and probably get inspired to write some sort of verse for a song. "I told him yes." I covered my eyes with my hands and stumped on the floor as I squealed. The girls followed in my steps as we all were happy awakening our inner child. "Wait is this the big thing you wanted to tell us?" Andrea squinted her eyes and slowly sat on the stool from the island, resting her chin on her hands and her elbows on the dirty surface. "Actually..." I poured more wine in my glass. "So, remember how I had to live with Pedro these past months?" They nodded their heads and looked at each other already expecting the news. "Okay, well; we sort of made out just right before I moved out." "What!" No other words were spoken, not even from the poet herself, who always has something to say. "We just left it like that, I didn't want to go any further." "But when did this happened? Exactly." Andrea slammed her hands on the table making our glasses rattle a bit. "Literally like three days before I found this place and moved in." I ran my fingers through my hair and wrapped my arms around my head as I laid my face on the marble surface in my kitchen. "But did you say no because you were talking to Jensen?" Taylor was so confused, but I could hear her imagination working. "No! Jensen was not in the picture, he never was." I turned away from them and mumbled. "Sort of." "What was that?" Andrea leaned in basically jumping on top of me trying to get me to tell her. "Did you–did you guys–" Andrea pointed at her fingers and started to do kissing sounds. "We sort of hooked up in 2013."
