CHAPTER FIFTEEN: GRYFFINDOR VS. SLYTHERIN ______________________________
First match of the year and the first game Annalise will play as the temporary Seeker for the Slytherin team. There was heavy rain but that did not stop the student from watching the game. Student ran down the lawns toward the Quidditch field, heads bowed against the ferocious wind, umbrellas being whipped out of their hands. Just before Annalise entered the locker room; Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, and Gregory Goyle were laughing and pointing at Harry from under an enormous umbrella on their way to the stadium. All she could do for now was roll her eyes and deal with them later, she noticed that only the three and Daphne Greengrass were now the only ones who would bother the trio or anyone else.
Annalise changed into her Slytherin uniform, she handed her bracelet and wand to Mattheo for safekeeping but kept her locket putting it away inside her shirt. She made her way to the boys' locker rooms as they were going over the game plan, once they were done they made their way to the field.
The Gryffindor team was approaching from the opposite side of the field, wearing scarlet and gold robes. The Captains walked up to each other and shook hands; Marcus Flint smirked at Oliver Wood, he looked as though he had lockjaw and merely nodded.
"Mount Your brooms." Madam Hooch said.
Annalise pulled her right foot out of the mud with a squelch and swung it over her Nimbus Two Thousand. Madam Hooch put her whistle to her lips and gave it a blast that sounded shrill and distant they were off, the game began.
Within five minutes into the game everyone was soaked to their skin, rain began to get heavier by the minute but this did not stop the game. Annalise couldn't feel her fingertips from how cold it was getting it. At time the Snitch will be close by Harry but he wouldn't notice till she will fly next to him.
"Harry watch out!" Annalise shouted as she pushed him away from a Bludger. "Are you mental!"
"Sorry Anna, I couldn't see it. I can't really see anything with my glasses on with this rain." He said wiping off the water droplets as more appeared. "And the sky is no help anymore is getting darker by the minute." He said as both looked up to the dark grey sky.
With the first flash of lightning came the sound of Madam Hooch's whistle; Harry could just see the outline of Oliver through the thick rain, gesturing him to the ground.
"I will be back I think Wood is calling the time," Harry said and the whole team splashed down into the mud as the Slytherin did as well.
"I called for time-out!" Oliver roared at his team. "Come on, under here."
The Slytherin team stayed in the rain watching the Gryffindor from a distance.
"What happened?" Marcus asked as he was annoyed that Oliver paused the match.
