CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
GIRLS CAN PLAY QUIDDITCH TOO
________________________________

"How do you feel?" Astoria asked watching as Annalise was getting ready for her first practice.

"A bit nervous, kinda now regretting saying yes." She said looking at the girls.

"No don't say that, you are the first girl to play quidditch ever since Flint became part of the team especially now that he is team captain."

"She has a point, Alise, no girl has been able to join the team not till now. Take this opportunity to show that girls are also able to play." Astoria said proudly.

"Thank you, girls," she said hugging them.

I got to go, can't be late for first practice." She said happily as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the room.

The Slytherin team was already waiting for Annalise; Marcus Flint team captain and chaser, Lucian Bole beater, Peregrine Derrick beater, Graham Montague chaser, Cassius Warrington chaser, and Miles Bletchley keeper.

"Took you long enough," Marcus said as he was standing there looking at Annalise.

"Hey be nice to Izzy, it's her first day, you still have thirty minutes before actual practice starts," Mattheo said as he walked into the common room.

"Let's just go," he said as the whole team walked out, Annalise and Mattheo were in the back following them to the Quidditch pitch.

"Try your best to hold on to your broom, you might never know what Flint will do," Mattheo said walking beside her.

"He does play dirty then, huh?" She said looking at Mattheo.

"Sadly yes but we can't do anything."

Annalise from a distance saw the Gryffindor team alongside Ron and Hermione.

"They have practice today as well?" She asked looking at Mattheo who was confused.

"They shouldn't, this does not look good at all. Remember what I told you during my second year when Draco made the team."

"Yeah, how the Slytherin team was teaching him how to play. That is when Flint gave Olvier Wood a letter saying that Slytherin would use the pitch. Then Draco started to call Hermione names and well Ron was practically throwing up slugs."

"Well, I think something like that will happen again, come on," Mattheo said holding her hand as they went closer to the team.

"I don't believe it! Where do you think you're going, Flint?" Oliver said as he approached the Slytherin team.
