It had been a year exactly since the diagnosis.

Another June.

Theo was at Walter's office doing final blood work and praying. If the cancer was gone he was in remission and home free. If it wasn't Walter was going to test people in Theo's family to see if they were bone marrow matches. Being his twin Grace would be the best match but she was also pregnant now. She was also very grouchy. Theo had gone by himself leaving Reed home to pace the floor. Theo just wanted to do this by himself.

Reed was home, pacing and fretting. He was ignoring texts from concerned family and friends who kept asking about the results. His stomach was in knots. His hands were shaking. Things had been going well with the treatment but what if.......

The front door opened and in walked Theo. He wasn't smiling. He had no expression at all on his face. He just stepped inside and shut the door quietly.

Oh God, Reed prayed. He stepped towards him, his heart pounding. Please. Please. Please. Please.

" I have good news and bad news. "

Please, God ,Reed prayed.

" The bad news first. "

Theo paused before speaking. " Grace won't get those damn white doves outside the church when we get married this August. "

Reed blinked his eyes at him. Then he saw Theo smile.

" The good news? "

" Walter said I am good. I am free. That bitch called Cancer is gone ! I AM IN REMISSION ! "

Then he jumped into Reed's waiting arms and they kissed passionately.
