As the days passed by, I couldn't shake the feeling that I hadn't been there for Dua as much as I wanted to. With her album release looming and the Chiefs' relentless pursuit of a Super Bowl berth, our schedules seemed to be pulling us in opposite directions. I knew I had to do something to

So, I decided to make a grand gesture, one that would hopefully make up for my absence and bring us closer together. I knew how much Dua loved her house in Malibu, how it was her sanctuary, her escape from the chaos of the world. But I also knew that she was considering selling it to help cover the exorbitant cost of terminating her contract with her label.

I couldn't bear to see her part with something that meant so much to her, so I made a decision. I would buy her house myself, ensuring that she wouldn't have to sacrifice her home for the sake of her career. It was a big step, a significant investment, but it was worth it if it meant keeping Dua happy.

As I navigated through the intricacies of Dua's situation, I couldn't shake the feeling that I needed to do something to help. Knowing her reluctance to accept financial assistance, I had to approach the issue with finesse. Buying her house in Malibu wasn't about flaunting my wealth or asserting dominance; it was a practical solution to ensure she didn't have to sacrifice something she loved. It was a delicate balance, but one I was determined to strike to show her that my intentions were genuine and rooted in a desire to support her, not control her.

I reached out to Shannon, Dua's trusted assistant, to help facilitate the process. Together, we worked tirelessly to negotiate with the interested parties and secure the deal. It wasn't easy, but I was determined to make it happen, to show Dua how much she meant to me.

I leaned back in my chair, contemplating the best way to assist Dua with her house in Malibu. She had been stressed about it lately, and I wanted to find a solution that would alleviate her worries without making her feel indebted to me.

"Hey, Shannon," I called out, beckoning my assistant into my office. "Can we chat for a moment?"

"Of course, Travis. What's on your mind?" Shannon asked, taking a seat across from me.

"I've been thinking about Dua's house in Malibu," I began, furrowing my brow with concern. "I know she's been considering selling it, but I don't want her to feel pressured into it."

Shannon nodded in understanding. "Yeah, she's mentioned feeling the pressure lately. The offers on the house haven't been what she was hoping for."

"I want to help her out, but I don't want her to feel like I'm just throwing money at her," I explained. "Do you think there's a way I can assist behind the scenes?"

Shannon paused, considering my question carefully. "It's a delicate situation. I know Dua values her independence and wouldn't want to feel like she owes anyone anything."

"Exactly," I agreed, nodding in agreement. "I was thinking of buying the house myself, but I want to do it in a way that respects her boundaries."

Shannon pondered for a moment before offering a suggestion. "I can reach out to the potential buyers and see if we can arrange something without Dua knowing."

"Thanks, Shannon. I really appreciate your help with this," I said gratefully.

"No problem. Anything for Dua," Shannon replied with a smile before heading off to begin her task.

Timeskip

I answered the call from Shannon. It's only been a few hours since I last spoke to her. I hope it's good news. "Hey, Shannon, what's the latest?"

"Travis, I've got some news about the house in Malibu," she said, her voice tinged with urgency.

My pulse quickened as I leaned in, eager to hear her update. "Go on, what's happening?"

"The buyers are having second thoughts," Shannon explained. "They're willing to back out of the deal, but they have one request."

I furrowed my brow, curious about their conditions. "What do they want?"

"They're asking for tickets to the Super Bowl," Shannon revealed.

A grin spread across my face as I realized the simplicity of their request. "That's it? Super Bowl tickets?"

"Yeah, they're big fans and figured it was worth a shot," Shannon replied with a chuckle.

"Done deal," I declared without hesitation. "Tell them they've got their tickets. I'll make sure they're taken care of."

Shannon sighed with relief. "Thanks, Travis. I'll let them know. I'll have the realtor send over the paperwork, and the house will be yours."

A sense of satisfaction washed over me as I absorbed the news. "Sounds good, Shannon. Thanks for handling everything."

With the call ended, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. Soon, Dua's house in Malibu would be mine, and I had found a way to support her without compromising her independence. It was a win-win situation, and I couldn't wait to see the look on Dua's face when she learned the news.
