Jay woke up with numb arms.
His face was blank, and soon twisted into one of confusion as he looked around.
However— it was soon replaced with an angry one as he realized where he was.
His mouth opened in an angry scream, and he thrashed around in his bonds.
The Ninja were disturbed from their restless slumber, and they quickly dressed, before heading to the interrogation room.
What they found on the other side of the glass was scary, and sad.
One of their family reduced to this, only a remnant of his past self.
Jay's bright blue eyes once filled with humor and curiosity were now a sharp, electric blue and filled with hate.
Clearly directed towards them.
Nya tried to stifle a sob, but her emotions betrayed her, and tears ran freely down her face.
Kai pulled her close and hugged her tight.
Zane wrapped a comforting arm around Cole as his normally stoic demeanor dropped, and his eyes watered.
Lloyd put his arms around the children as he sensed them start to lose hope for Jay, and the chance of him ever remembering his past.
