A fuzzy voice whispered through the mic.
"Cameras down."
"Thanks, Sora."
Lloyd, along with Zane hopped soundlessly across the light fixtures hung on the ceilings of The Administration.
The three Ninja were currently on a side-mission, one to try and find Jay, the missing lightning ninja.
Lloyd and Zane leapt and landed in a tucked roll, getting to their feet without a noise, before running to an empty office cube. Zane got up on an office chair, scanning the busy workplace before them.
Lloyd nodded at him, and his hands glowed an icy blue before freezing the workers active in the area they would be scouring in. They made sure that the east wing was secure, pulling up a holographic diagram of the area, before Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief.
"Okay, I think we're good."
"Yes, but I do believe that there is a worker in proximity to us- they must be here to check on why the systems here are down. We should finish this up quickly."
The two agreed soundlessly, rushing to quickly search the east wing.
"I think that I've found it- see there?"
Zane smiled at him.
"Yes. See the tag above the door? It reads Agent Jay Walker. That's the elemental master of lightning we were looking for."
The two Ninja jumped as a voice bellowed out from behind the wooden door.
"What the hell is an elemental master?"
They remained silent for a few seconds, backing away from the door. Thankfully they did- since just a second after they backed up, the door slammed open, a straight-backed, freckled and tired-looking brunette stepped through.
He looked at the two ninja, looking them up and down and wrinkling his nose at their apparel.
"...what's with the colorful pajamas? You look like fools here. You should abide to the dress codes here. It's not a good look on your report."
Lloyd's eye twitched as he heard the poorly concealed sound of Sora's giggles through his mic.
The lightning ninja paused for a moment.
"Now, I'm quite sure my lovely boss didn't inform me of new interns or anything like that, so why are you two here?"
The 'new interns' looked at each other, before the second one came to a conclusion-
The levelheaded and calm ice ninja punched Agent Walker in the face, instantly knocking him out. Lloyd stared at Zane, his mouth agape.
Zane brushed a speck of lint off his hand.
Lloyd could now hear Sora's laughter through his mic loud and clear, unfiltered by her suit sleeve.
"If you are questioning why I did that, you must recognize that out of the several thousand scenarios I created, this was this was the most logical."
Lloyd could only look at Zane, exasperated.
