Dallas Winston and SodaPop Curtis love triangle

Chapter 4-The talk

As I sat down at the table my mom said "I've heard you've been making some new friends, but I'm not sure I approve of all of them, SodaPop Curtis is fine, but you know Dallas Winston has quite the reputation, right?" I was about to respond but she noticed something else and she said in a concerned tone "and why are you wearing his necklace?"

"Look mom, I know he has a reputation, but he's not as bad as people say" and then I said in a quieter voice "I think we're kind of dating"

"Y/N Y/L/N! what do you mean 'you're kind of dating' Dallas Winston is the most dangerous greaser around! Mom shouted

I couldn't take it anymore and I just stormed out, she had barely even been in my life for the past few months, and now she wanted to tell me what to do, she hadn't even noticed when I stopped going to school.

I was walking around when I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Soda. "Oh, hey Soda."
"Are you okay? I thought you were going home to see your mom" Soda said I then said "I'm fine, just a little upset, me and my mom got into an argument." Soda looked surprised "what about?" He asked. I replied "she heard around that me and Dally are friends, then she noticed I was wearing his necklace, she thinks Dally's no good."

Soda seemed to think for a second and then said "well she's right, Dally's no good for you, I doubt he could love anything, he's just going to end up hurting you, but I would never, I would be good for you, and care about you." I didn't know what to say, he did like me, but I was dating Dally and I liked Dally a lot.

Suddenly Soda grabbed my face in his hands and started kissing me, I tried to pull away, but he held on for a few more seconds. Before I could say anything I heard Dally's voice yell out "Soda, what the hell, man!" And Dally started running over to us.

"Dally I swear he kissed me and I tried to pull away" I said "I know, I saw" Dally said glaring at Soda. "Dally, we both know you're just going to end up hurting her, or leaving her alone when you go to jail, but I won't do that I'll always care for y/n and be there when she needs me to" Soda said "Bull shit Soda, you're just upset she chose me, you can't stand the fact y/n fell for me, you can have any girl you want, except for y/n, and you can't stand it." Dally said

"You're right, I am upset she chose you" Soda then looked at me and continued "when he hurts you, and I know he will, I'll always be here for you." He then turned and left me standing there with Dally, who was still glaring at Soda's back. Boy could Dally look dangerous when he wanted to, his eyes were flaring with anger and he somehow looked even taller, it was like he was radiating anger.

"Calm down, he's gone now" I said. "God the nerve of that guy, I get one girl and he thinks he should have her." He said more to himself than me.

*DALLY'S POV*

I was so mad, but I knew I had to calm down like y/n said, she looked kind of worried. After a few minutes I calmed down and me and y/n started walking to the Curtis brothers house.

When we got there the only person home was Pony, and he didn't say anything he just glared at me, so I assumed Soda told him about what had happened "hey Pony, anyone else home?" I asked him "no, but Darry should be home soon." He responded. After a second Pony said something else "can I talk to you for a minute Dal?" I looked back at y/n then said "alright, be back soon y/n." She then said "alright" and me and Pony walked outside.

Pony started to glare again and he said "Soda told me about what happened between you two, you should back off Dal." I was surprised at him saying this, he usually tried to stay out of situations like this, but I suppose he was just trying to help out his brother, so I wouldn't be too hard on him, but I was getting real sick of being told what to do. "Look kid, I know he's your brother but what's going on between me and him is none of your business." I said. He seemed like he wanted to say something else, but decided not to push, which was an extremely good decision on his part, and he just stormed back into the house and I followed him.

*Y/N POV*

I saw as Pony came in first, he looked upset and annoyed, he then went into his room and slammed the door. A few seconds later Dally came back in and sat on the couch next to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

The person who I assumed was Darry came in and said "oh, hey guys, you seen Pony" I replied "yes, he went to his room a few minutes ago." He then said "thanks y/n" and went to Pony's room.

*TIME SKIP*

It was getting late and I really didn't feel like going home and having to face my mom, as if Dally could tell this he asked "hey Doll, it's getting late, wanna stay the night at Buck's with me, I have a room there, and there's going to be a party there tonight." "Sure, that sounds good" I said. Then Dally took my hand and started walking to Buck's.
