Chapter 6-The Dingo

We arrived at the Dingo and were seated at a booth, I slid in and Dally sat down next to me and Darry sat down on the other side.

"So are you two dating?" Darry asked after we ordered our food. I blushed and said "yes" and Dally just smirked.

Darry gave me a questioning look, which Dally seemed to notice, he kept smirking, but he pulled me closer to him.

We all got are food and started eating. We finished eating and dally paid the check, and as we were walking out Dally said "hey Darry, can you walk y/n back to the house, I'm supposed to meet Tim Shepherd." Darry said "sure, Dal" and then Dally turned to me and said "I'll meet you at the house Doll, see you in a few hours." I said "alright bye Dally" and Dally started walking away and Darry and I started walking back to the house.

Darry and I were silent for a few minutes but then he said "look I know it's none of my business, but Dally... Dally is trouble, he's my friend and all, but I just want you to be careful, the hole gang cares about you a lot." It was nice of him to be concerned, but I knew what I was getting myself into, so I said "it's really sweet that you care, but I can take care of myself" that was the last thing either of us said before we made it to the house.

When we made it to the house Darry said "I have to go to work, but Soda should be home." I then said "thanks for walking me here." He said "no problem" and then started walking away.

I entered the house and saw Soda sitting on the sofa, so I walked over and sat on the opposite side of the couch Soda then turned to me and smiled and said "wanna go see a movie." I had nothing better to do so I said "yes" and we started heading to the movie.

Once we got there we took our seats and then after the movie Soda asked "hey wanna go get something to eat before we head back to the house?" I thought about that, on the one hand I kinda did, but Dally would probably be back by now. I decided Dally could wait a little longer and I smiled at Soda and said "sure" and then we started heading to get something to eat.

Once we got there we sat down at a booth. We started talking and the conversation flowed, it was nice to talk to him like this, we hadn't talked like this for a while, not as long as me and Dally had been dating, and I had missed it. Suddenly I realized I might have feelings for both him and Dally, but I didn't know what I could do.

After a while we finally left, Soda paid the check and we were walking home, we entered the house and the minute we came in Dally started walking really fast towards Soda and his eyes were blazing.

"What were you two doing!" Dally yelled pinning Soda against the wall by the collar. "Dally what are you doing! We just went to see a movie!" I yelled back. Dally looked into my eyes for a moment and seemed to believe me, he let go of Soda, but they were still glaring at each other, as if they were ready to fight right then and there.

I quickly ran in between the two and said "both of you calm down." Soda glared at Dally for another moment, then turned to look at me, and his face softened slightly, and then he turned and sat down on the Sofa.

*SODA'S POV*

I wanted to kick his ass, who did he think he was, he came into my house and pinned me against a wall, and he was dating the girl I wanted, but when y/n came in between and looked at me, she looked so hurt and scared, I couldn't hurt him without hurting her. I would just have to wait until he made a mistake, one that y/n couldn't get over, and then she would see who really cared about her, and who would never hurt her.

I looked back over to y/n and Dally. It looked like Dally was trying to come over here, but y/n was trying to hold him back, he kept saying in a low voice "just let me kick his ass, then he'll stop trying to make you choose him over me." I heard her in the same low voice say "Dally, just come on a walk with me, you need to calm down, I couldn't take it if either of you got hurt in a fight." I heard him say in a low and angry voice "why are you defending him, do you want him instead of me? You know what, I think I need some time to clear my head." He threw one last scowl my way and walked at a fast pace out the door. Y/n stood there for a minute, and then I heard a quiet sob, I didn't even think for a second and I ran over and hugged her."

*Y/N POV*

I hugged Soda back. I was so upset Dally was mad at me, I was hurt Dally would just leave me like that. Soda helped me to the sofa and he sat down next to me. He held me while I cried and rubbed my back in comforting circles. Soon I found myself calmer, I was so grateful to Soda for being there for me and I said "thank you Soda, I don't know what I would of done if you weren't here for me." He smiled and said "no problem, I care about you" and then he kissed me

This time I didn't pull away, he kept kissing me until we both needed air, and then he kissed me again for a little while longer. Then he pulled away and smiled.

I felt so guilty, I was dating Dally, but I just kissed Soda, and the part I felt most guilty about was I had kind of liked it.
