Chapter 8-The Fight

It all happened so fast, Dally punched Soda, which made Soda fall to the ground, but he quickly got back up and punched back, and before I knew it, it had turned into a full on fight. I yelled "Darry, Pony, I need help, Dally and Soda are fighting!"

They quickly ran into the room, me and Pony were trying to pull Soda away from Dally, since he wasn't as strong, and Darry was trying to pull Dally away.

Despite our efforts to pull them fully away from each other, a punch would still be thrown. I could tell Soda had gotten his ass beat, he had a busted lip, and his nose was bleeding and his eye was swollen, Dally on the other hand, had just a small cut above his eye.

After a while two-bit came to the house and helped us to stop the fight. Once everything settled down a bit more Darry asked Soda and Dally "so what was that all about." Dally yelled out "he slept with y/n, my girl." Darry looked confused "yeah, so, she was crying and she fell asleep so Soda carried her into his room so we wouldn't have to wake her up, what about it?" Dally immediately looked flushed and he responded "oh, I thought he meant it in another way." He then looked at me and said "I didn't cheat on you y/n I swear to god I didn't, it was my ex, Buck had let her up to my room, I swear I didn't even know she was there."

I was taken aback by his explanation, it did seem like something Buck and Dally's jealous ex would do. I just said "we'll talk about it later Dal, I have to help get you and Soda cleaned up."

Darry, Two-bit, and Pony were all helping Soda get cleaned up in his room, while I was helping clean Dally up in the bathroom. After a little while I was done cleaning the small cut on his forehead. He looked into my eyes and asked me "do you believe me?" I looked into his eyes and I could tell what he told me earlier had been the truth. I continued looking into his eyes and told him "yes, but there's something I have to tell you, I feel really guilty about it." He looked at me, seeming to understand what it was going to be about.

I said "it was a big mistake, it was after our fight, and I was upset and crying, and Soda was being really nice to me and then he kissed me, and I hadn't tried to pull away, I regretted it immediately, and that's when I came to Buck's, I was going to tell you then, but you know what happened...." I paused for a moment and then continued "do you think you could forgive me?"

Right then he pulled me into a passionate kiss and we kept kissing and then Pony walked into the room, and immediately blushed and looked flustered.

"Hey umm... y/n... Sodas all fixed up and doing okay... if you go see him I'm sure he'll appreciate it." Pony said and immediately left the room after. I looked at Dally who was smirking, he then put his necklace back around my neck and said playfully "wouldn't want him getting any ideas" I just smiled and rolled my eyes

I left the room and started heading to Soda. When I got there he was sitting on the bed, he smiled when he saw me at first, but after a moment he noticed the necklace and frowned "you and Dally back together huh?" I just went to sit down next to him and nodded. He then turned to me and looked me in the eyes and asked "why him and not me?" I was taken aback by his question and it took me a minute to answer

"I don't really know Soda, love is complicated, I guess I just see something in him, something that needs someone like me, someone who can be caring if they open up to others." Soda looked at me and said "but I need someone like you too, and I'm always caring, and are you really in love with him?"

"Yes Soda, yes I am." Soda looked at me seriously "you know he could never love you back, he isn't capable of loving anything." I looked at Soda just as serious and said "I don't think that's true Soda" Soda then looked at me and said "y/n I love you, more than he ever could." I looked at him with a sad expression and said "I'm sorry Soda" and before he could say anything else I got up and left the room.

I went to the living room and I saw Dally sitting on the couch. I smiled at him and said "wanna come on a walk with me?" He smirked and said "sure Doll" and then we left the house and started walking.

Dally put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. I enjoyed the moment and we talked a little bit, one thing he said caught me off guard. He said "I never officially asked you to be my girlfriend." He smirked and I said "well, wasn't me accepting the necklace when we were official?" He smirked and said "yeah." We were then silent for a few moments until Dally said.

"I know Sodas told you that I can't love anyone or anything, but if I can it would be you y/n. I responded "I love you too Dally." And we shared a passionate kiss as the sun was setting. After we broke apart he said "this reminds me of a poem Pony told me about once, the name was something like nothing gold can stay but our relationship will stay gold. And with that we shared one last kiss before the sunset, and I knew I had made the right choices, as I was in the arms of Dally, the one person I truly loved.

I would like to thank everyone who read this (it was my first book) I don't know if it was any good but I tried. I had a lot of fun writing and I will be making more books soon. I was thinking of doing a Dally and Johnny love triangle or an outsiders x reader, but I'm very open to comments and suggestions (suggestions would be appreciated) and if you guys liked any of these ideas please comment.
