I've got a special pocket
That's stitched into my chest
It's full of all the moments
That I've thought of as my best
And when a good friend tells me
About the things that make them smile
I place them in my pocket
So I can keep them for awhile
And when I'm feeling saddened
Just as I was today
I'll open up my pocket
To help the sadness go away
The pocket's always endless
Yet sometimes it overflows
And the love that spills out from it
Is how the pocket grows
And sometimes if you're lucky
If I hug you really tight
You can feel my pocket beating
And you might just feel its light

PoetryI take requests and I am getting back into writing books. I'm starting this one cause I love reaching out to others who are dealing with the same problems. Leave a life and continue to read my book
