I've been drowning for awhile
Struggling to get above the waves
Tossed around in the currents
Stranded at sea for months
I've been falling for awhile
Fell off the edge of a large canyon
Can't hear my screaming over the wind
Waiting for the moment I hit the bottom
I've been burning for awhile
Stuck in a burning house
The exit was blocked by falling debris
Smoke burns my lungs like fire does my
skin
I've been dying for awhile
My coffin has already been sealed tight
Six feet underground, alone in the dark
Born to run into the arms of nothingness
