In the aftermath of the shooting, Athena and the 118 are on high alert when a sniper is targeting members of the LAFD. Meanwhile Ashleigh struggles to come to terms with Buck getting shot... and maddie makes a life decision.

A gunshot rang out...

Mehta: "Shots fired. Shots fired! Firefighter's been shot!"

Ashleigh was still lying on the ground between the truck and Mehta, and her eyes stared at Buck.

Bullets were still hitting the truck, and one of the bullets hit the tank, and gasoline began leaking from the truck.

Mehta: "Shots fired! We need LAPD and air support! Firefighter needs help!"

Ashleigh rolled under the truck, and Ashleigh grunted, crawling underneath.

"Come on, Buck!" Ashleigh shouted.

A bullet hits the gasoline, starting a fire.

"Stay down! I'm gonna come! I got you!" Ashleigh shouted, seeing Buck roll onto his back. "Stay down, Buck!"

Mehta: "Shots fired. Firefighter needs help!"

"Buck, hang on. Baby..." Ashleigh said, crawling under the truck and staring at Buck.

Mehta: "Firefighter needs help. I repeat..."

Ashleigh yelled, grabbing Buck's hand and pulling Buck under the truck with Ashleigh.

Ashleigh climbed from under the truck, pulling Buck, with her sitting beside Mehta.

"I got..." Ashleigh muttered, grunting lightly.

"Ahh!" Buck shouted.

"Come on, get him in the cabin!" Ashleigh shouted, climbing into the truck.

The firefighters lifted Buck, putting him in the back of the truck, and Ashleigh kneeled beside him.

"Get to the trucks!" Mehta shouted.

Ashleigh jumped, hearing a bullet smash the glass.

"Go! Go, go, go, go!" Mehta shouted, climbing into the truck.

"Hey, come on!" Ashleigh shouted.

A bullet hits the front window of the truck.

"Back up! Back up, back up, back up!" Mehta shouted.

The firefighter reversed the truck backwards, and the open door got ripped off from the truck hitting the car.

Ashleigh covered herself and Buck as the fire from the car sprayed outward.

"I got you, Buck. We got you. Hey, hey." Ashleigh muttered, shoving the firefighter away and ripping his shirt open.

Ashleigh breathed heavily, tearing open a bandage with her teeth and pressing it against the wound as hard as she could.

"Hey, hey, I got you, baby. I got you. Okay." Ashleigh mumbled, grunting softly.

Mehta: "This is the captain of the 133 en route to Byrne Memorial."

"Hey, just... you just stay with me, okay?" Ashleigh asked, staring down at Buck.

"Hey... are you hurt?" Asked Buck.

Ashleigh looked down at the blood covering her, shaking her head.

Mehta: "Requesting a trauma unit to meet us. We have a firefighter with a gunshot wound. Firefighter Evan Buckley. Of the 118."

"No, no, no, I'm good. You just hang on." Ashleigh murmured, grabbing Buck and pulling him towards her.

Ashleigh kept pressure on the wound, and tears began falling down her cheeks

Ashleigh kept pressure on the wound, and tears began falling down her cheeks.

"Hey, come on! Come on! Just hang on. Hey, three minutes away. You're so close." Ashleigh tells Buck.

Mehta: "We're gonna need a lot of blood."

"We're so close. I just... I need you to hang... I need you to hang on." Ashleigh whispered, staring down at Buck.

Buck pulled the mask off of him, put his hand on the side of her face, and kissed her.
