The 118 believes their fabled firehouse superstition has come true when they have the day from hell with a never-ending series of bizarre emergency calls... Athena is in hot pursuit of a 118 firetruck; a man who duct-taped himself to a freeway billboard, a garage full of fireworks and a restaurant manager destroying his own business. Meanwhile, Eddie feels a spark with Christopher's former teacher, but admits to Bobby he may not be ready to move on in his personal life just yet.
It was nighttime in Los Angeles, and cops were travelling at high speeds, chasing someone with their sirens on...
Dispatch: "Officers in pursuit. We're sending backup."
The officers cars skidded around the corner.
An LAPD helicopter was in the sky.
Man: "All eyes on suspect. We got him surrounded."
Athena: "Dispatch, this is 727L30. Closing in on suspect vehicle."
Dispatch: "Copy, 727L30. Do you have eyes?"
Athena: "Suspect is a little hard to miss."
Athena was right behind the 118 fire truck, and Athena pressed the button for speakers on top of her car.
Athena: "Engine 118, this is your last warning. Pull over now!"
The fire truck made a sharp turn, and the officers cars skidded around the corner.

At the firehouse, Ashleigh was standing there holding a clipboard...
"Trauma bag?" Asked Ashleigh.
"Yup." Eddie says.
"I'm sorry. What was that?" Ashleigh asked, putting her hand on her ear.
"Check." Eddie murmured.
"Yeah. AED?" Ashleigh asked.
"Check." Eddie says.
"No. Who gave my girlfriend a clipboard?" Buck asked, walking over to them and holding a Starbucks coffee.
Chimney walked beside Buck.
"Ah, don't worry. It's a kinder, gentler clipboard, as is the woman who holds it. Meet Ash 3.0." Ashleigh says.
"What, three? What happened to 2.0?" Buck said.
"Yeah, two's leg got crushed by a ladder truck." Chimney says.
Ashleigh stared at Chimney.
"Still not sure what inspired the software update." Eddie murmured.
"Well, I'm just ready to let go of my past." Ashleigh muttered.
"Your parents lied to you your entire life, and you're just gonna let go? What's your secret?" Asked Eddie.
"Thanks for the reminder, buddy. And therapy. As in, my parents agreed to come to a few sessions with me, work our stuff out. Look, they're trying. I figure I should try too. Right?" Asked Ashleigh.
