Later, Chimney and Athena were standing by the elevator at the hospital...
"Okay, wish me luck." Chimney muttered.
"Good luck." Athena says.
Chimney entered the elevator, pushing a button.
"Word of advice? If she tells you to shut up, shut up."

"Copy that." Said Chimney.
Chimney managed to say before the elevator doors closed and Athena turned, seeing a man standing at reception.
"No, no, no, no. I... I don't understand. What do you mean I can't see her?" He asked, banging his hand on the counter. "She's here, right?"
"Yes, your wife is here, but as I explained already, her room is currently listed as secured."
"Secured? What does that even mean?" He asked.
"Everything okay here?" Athena asked.
"Uh, this gentleman is here to see Rachel Hawkerson."
"She's my wife. I got a call that my wife and my son were in some kind of accident, but nobody will tell me anything except that my son is at a different hospital and I can't see my wife." He says.
"Sir, they were part of the collision on the 710 freeway." Said Athena.
"The... the big pileup?" He asked.
"Yes. Can we go somewhere quiet where we can talk?" Athena asked.
"I want to see my wife." He said.
"I'm afraid you can't do that right now. Your wife's room is secure because she's in our custody while we investigate the cause of tonight's accident." Athena tells him.
"The cau... right. On the news, they said it was a drunk driver." He says.
"Yes." Athena whispered.
"No. No." He whispered, closing his eyes. "She wouldn't do that. Not with Jacob in the car. She promised me."
"Sometimes we break our promises." Said Athena.
A few minutes later, Athena was sitting outside while Jacob's father called the hospital...
Man: "Okay. Yes. Uh, thank you."
He pulled his phone away from his ear, hanging up.
"How's your son?" Asked Athena.
"He's still in surgery. I, uh... I need to get over there." He muttered, standing up from the bench.
"I can have an officer take you." Athena says.
"Did she say anything? Rachel? At the scene?" He asked.
"She wasn't very coherent. You didn't know she was drinking?" Athena asked.
"I thought this was all behind us. She tried so many times to stay sober." He murmured, sitting back down on the bench. "It almost broke our marriage. But then... then Jacob. And I thought... I thought, "Finally, she'll have a reason not to drink." I don't know what I'm gonna tell him. Is there... is there any way you're wrong about this?"
"She had a BAC of .28 when she arrived. Four times the legal limit. Probably higher at the time of the crash. That would account for her disorientation from your son's 911 call." Athena murmured.
"Jacob's the one who called 911?"
